🚨 Emergency Drill – With a Twist! 🚨

We gave our team quite the surprise this week with a very realistic emergency scenario — complete with our Group Manager pretending to fall and suffer a head injury… and yes, we even used tomato ketchup for dramatic effect! 🍅😱

Don’t worry — it was all a planned drill to test how well staff respond in an emergency. And we’re proud to say they handled it brilliantly! Calm, quick-thinking, and following all the right steps ✅👏

Well done to everyone involved — and no Group Managers were harmed in the making of this drill! 😉

What a game this month! Derek brought his A-game and pulled ahead with an incredible 200-point lead over our regular champ, Tom. 👏

We’ve had a fantastic start, supported by our amazing work experience students — Aarush, Deja, and Mercy — who’ve been doing a brilliant job encouraging and cheering on our residents. 🙌

Today we had to say goodbye to our Group Manager, Jo.

Jo has been such an important part of Grasmere — always supportive, always kind, and someone who truly took the time to get to know each of us. Her leadership came from the heart, and her presence made a real difference.

She’ll be truly missed, both professionally and personally.
