✨ Health Care Assistant Position at Grasmere ✨

Join our family-run residential care home as a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant! We’re looking for individuals who are eager to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.

🕐 Full-time | 36+ hours per week

🎓 **Experience in care is required!** We are looking for candidates who have a proven background in providing high-quality care and support to individuals, particularly the elderly.

What you’ll do:
• Provide personal care and support to residents with daily living activities
• Assist in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
• Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed

What we’re looking for:
• A genuine passion for elderly care
• Strong communication skills and a caring nature
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative
• Reliability and a positive attitude

We’re so excited for her as she prepares to welcome her little one into the world. There were smiles, laughter, and lots of love as we wished her all the happiness in this new chapter.

🎃👻 We’re in the Halloween spirit at Grasmere Rest Home! 👻🎃

The pumpkins are carved, the decorations are up, and there are plenty of spooky smiles all around! Our residents and staff have had a wonderful time getting into the festive fun — from costume dress-ups to Halloween treats and a few friendly frights. 🧙‍♀️🕸️🕷️

🎃 October Spooky Cups Recap! 👻

We had a blast playing Bean Bag Bull’s Eye this month, what a game!

Eileen wowed us all with an amazing streak of 3 Bull’s Eyes in a row, earning a record 460 points in a single round! 🔥

But it was a tight competition all the way through, both Jean and Richard scored high in every round. In the end, Jean took 1st place with 1,425 points, claiming the Spooky Cup, and Richard followed closely behind with 1,350 points, earning the Pumpkin Cup! 🏆🎃
