Remember we are still wintering… Through the early weeks of January in the northern hemisphere we remain in the depths of winter. Yet we are expected to get back to a busy schedule of work, school, activity.
We are told to make New Years Resolutions and get down to the gym or take up a new exercise regime. But our bodies know that we are still in need of rest, quiet & reflection. The modern industrialised world is not reflective of the rhythm of the seasons & our connection within that.
So if you are feeling pushed in January, know that this is a natural response, you are tuning in to what is inside, a request to be slow. If you can find some moments of time to be still & rest, to get cosy & warm then do allow yourself this 🔥
