It was a special day at Belmont Lodge 🎉 as our Resident, Sara celebrated her 83rd birthday.

The team wanted to make it a memorable day for Sara, so we decorated the lounge and arranged a birthday cake, While she enjoyed celebrating with her friends having a tea party 🎉 with lots if delicious cakes 🧁 having fun, laughing and sharing stories of other birthday celebration she has enjoyed. 🥳 Forest Healthcare Ltd

With our Friday morning exercise session with Burns Gym at Belmont Lodge was a total hit! 🎉Our residents were on fire—dancing, stretching, and sharing laughs. We have enjoyed an exciting morning of baking 😋

Chocolate chip cookie 🍪 😋 was on the menu for our residents at Belmont Lodge today 🤩
Our group of enthusiastic bakers gathered in the lounge ready to embrace their inner chefs and enjoy a morning of cooking.
Armed with a table full of ingredients and plenty of aprons, our residents grabbed their spoons and got stuck into making their cake before handing them over to staff to bake. Once out of the oven, our residents enjoyed settling down to sample the cake with a nice cup of tea. 👏👏 Forest Healthcare Ltd

🎉 What a day to remember! 🎶 Today, we welcomed the wonderful kids from Flying Start Nursery to Belmont Lodge, and our residents couldn't have been happier! 🌈

Did you know that intergenerational activities can boost mood and well-being for both young and old!

Our residents loved singing along to nursery rhymes and sharing laughter with the little ones. It's amazing to see the joy that these monthly visits bring! We can't wait for next month! 🎈

Our Myley Trip out 🚌

Our Residents enjoyed taking a trip to Thurrock Garden Centre, The wonderful sights and smells were something to behold and our residents were all impressed by the gorgeous flowers 🌼 especially the roses. One of our ladies found the orange 🍊 trees complete with some ripe fruits, ready for eating!
No trip out is complete without a fresh cup of tea and homemade cakes so we made sure to squeeze in a visit to the Cafe before setting off Home. All of the residents really enjoyed themselves, you could tell from the lively singsong we had while driving back on the Mini Bus. Getting out and about is essential for maintaing a varied and interesting life so here at Belmont Lodge , ensure there is always something for everyone to do and enjoy.

Our residents enjoyed participating with life skills today 😀

Working with house hold objects helps some residents to stay connected to their surroundings. House activities can include everything from sorting and rearranging the cutlery drawer to washing and polishing folks, hoovering, folding the laundry, building and DIY inspired around occupations Our residents really enjoyed giving a helping hand today.

Veterans' Gathering

What a delightful afternoon our veterans enjoyed with Keith from the Royal British Legion and Ron Martin, who joined the parachute regiment in 1967 and devoted 14 years to his service as a staff sergeant. Ron regaled us with fascinating stories from his travels in countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, and Malaysia, and he brought along his medal 🏅, sharing the memorable moment when he received his military honor from the Queen.

We were also thrilled to welcome our new veteran champions, Jean and Joy, to their very first veterans' café! Their presence added an extra layer of warmth and camaraderie to our gathering.

Each person carries a unique and inspiring story, and these monthly gatherings are the perfect platform to share them!
