🐐💖 Recently we had the sweetest visit from our adorable pygmy goats at Sherrell House! There’s nothing like the joy and calm these little bundles of fur bring to our residents. Watching them hold and cuddle the goats was truly heartwarming — smiles, laughter, and so much love all around.

These visits do so much more than just brighten the day; they bring comfort, reduce stress, and create unforgettable moments of connection. We’re so grateful for the chance to share this special experience with our community.

🌸🎨 Some of the wonderful people that live at Sherrell House got creative with a lovely art activity! They spent the afternoon making beautiful homemade cards—cutting out flowers, coloring in vibrant designs, and pouring their hearts into each one.

It’s always so special to see their creativity shine and the joy it brings. These handmade cards are full of love and brighten up everyone’s day here!

🎉 Great News from Sherrell House! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that Sherrell House had its Environmental Health Officer (EHO) inspection today — and we received fantastic feedback with an “Excellent inspection” rating and a perfect 5-star score! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A huge thank you to our amazing team whose hard work, high standards, and dedication to quality care made this possible. We're proud to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all of the people that live in the home and team members.

Today, we celebrated Team Appreciation 2025! An opportunity to thank our amazing team for the incredible work they do to support our care home community.

We indulged in pizzas, sweet treats, and celebrated our colleagues for their contributions to our vibrant home.

Rockin' around the clock 🕺

Yesterday, we welcomed Rah Rah Theatre Company to host an exciting rock and roll themed performance for our community. They brought the energy with them, and soon had the room moving in time to the music they played.

Smiles and laughter filled the room throughout the show; a clear sign of how much it was enjoyed!

And the best part? We won’t have to wait long for an encore, as Rah Rah Theatre Company will be back in July for an Abba themed show.

We’re all very excited!
