Jacqui Dean came in to entertain our residents and the atmosphere was just electric. From classic favourites to feel-good tunes, Jacqui had the whole room singing along.

We were so happy to welcome the lovely Jacqui Dean to Rowallan House recently! 🎤

Jacqui had our residents singing along, clapping and smiling from start to finish. There's something about live music that just lifts everyone's spirits — and Jacqui has a real gift for connecting with people through song.

It was a wonderful afternoon and our residents are already asking when she's coming back! We can't wait either.

Out for a walk near Hainault today and came across this beautiful bench 🪑 dedicated to Janet Irene Loader, who walked her dogs here 🐕 for many years.

What really caught our eye was the inscription — "With special thanks to Rowallan House" 🏡💙

It's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. Knowing that the care and kindness at Rowallan House meant enough to be remembered in such a lasting way is truly humbling 🥹

Rest easy, Janet. You're not forgotten 🤍🕊️

We were delighted to welcome The Blair Academy to Rowallan House recently! 💃🕺

The Blair Academy is an incredible social enterprise centred on healthy, happy ageing through hip hop dance. Their mission to combat loneliness and improve physical and mental health truly shines through in every session.

Our residents absolutely loved the Chair Dance and interactive sessions — there was so much laughter, movement, and pure joy. It's wonderful to see how dance can bring such positive energy into our home and connect generations together.

A huge thank you to The Blair Academy for making our residents' day so special. You're always welcome at Rowallan House! 💚

The sound of Siobhans voice is pure magic! 🎤

Siobhan has been visiting Rowallan House for many years now, and her performances have become a treasured tradition for our residents. Theres something truly heartwarming about watching her interact with our residents — singing classic songs that stir memories and bring smiles to everyones faces.

Music has a unique way of connecting people, and Siobhan understands this perfectly. Her gift for entertainment goes beyond just singing — its about creating meaningful moments and bringing joy to our residents lives.

There's nothing quite like live music to brighten the day! We recently had a singer visit Rowallan House to entertain our residents, and the reaction was just wonderful.
