The charity I volunteer for, The Listening Place, is aiming to raise £57,500 through The Big Give Christmas Challenge by 12pm on 7th December to increase the availability of timely and responsive support for people who feel suicidal. They contact all referrals within 24 hours and offer a first appointment within a week.

The last week or so I have been talking about the Earth element in my classes. According to Chinese medicine we are currently in Late summer, this is a really important transitional season and is all about the grounding element Earth and spleen and stomach meridians.

There’s a real back to school energy in the air, this is a time to recenter, to stabilise and ground ourself in preparation for change as we move from the yang energy of summer into the more Yin seasons that are approaching.

So over the next few weeks, look after your digestive system, take the time to nourish yourself, what ever that looks for you, maybe even come to class… I will be offering a grounding practice over the next week 🌍
