Expect 60s glam, a three‑course dinner, auction, raffle, and dancing - all to support local children and adults with learning disabilities in Ealing & Hounslow 💛

Hounslow Travel Training’s Bus Day was a fantastic success! 😎

We were joined by local schools, colleges and disability groups for a fully interactive session with TfL mentors, Revenue Protection Officers and Travel Trainers – all taking place on a moving bus! 🚌

Among the attendees was a student from Great Oaks College in Hounslow, who took part in the activities and gained confidence travelling independently .oakscollege

Using blue paint, our Dare to Dream trainees learnt how to effectively wash their hands, essential for so many jobs and preparing them for potential work in the future

Repair Week is coming to Ealing Mencap! ♻️✂️

Join us on Friday 6 March 2026 at Dare to Dream The Showroom for a special sewing workshop, where we’ll turn old tote bags into drawstring bags.

💪Led by people with a learning disability, for people with a learning disability
🪡Learn simple sewing + upcycling skills
💚 Be creative and support sustainability
👢Supported by our fashion teacher Lorraine and our inclusive fashion show “Repair Champions”
🌟All abilities welcome – no sewing experience needed

📅Friday 6th March
🕧2:30–2:00
📍Dare to Dream, 1-2 Leeland Road, W13 9HH

No set charge – suggested £5 donation if you’re able (cash or card on the day).
Bring an old tote bag if you have one – we’ll help you transform it!
