ChitoCare has become such a big part of my life — not just professionally, but as a brand I genuinely believe in.
Last week I had the honour of presenting to an amazing group of press and journalists, alongside the brilliant . Sharing the science and story behind this brand is always a joy, especially when it’s built around something as unique as chitosan.
Chitosan is a naturally derived, biocompatible polymer extracted from the shells of Icelandic shrimp. It’s known for supporting skin regeneration, barrier repair, and wound healing, all while being incredibly soothing — even on compromised or sensitive skin.
