Andrea Arare Women's Circles | Rite of Passage Ceremonies | Shamanic Healing | Divine Feminine Empowerment | Mothe Feminine reconnection and traditional healing.

I'm Andréa, an agent of transformation. I serve the Divine Feminine by remembering the old ways of connecting with women, our gifts, and our inner wisdom. I was born and raised in Brazil. I am a shamanic practitioner and a healer. My previous working life was as an engineer, most recently in sustainable energy. I've been a ceremony space holder for almost 10 years offering ceremonies in NY, London, and Budapest. I am also a mother, a wife, a sister for many, and a proud daughter of Mother Earth. I was initiated in Shamanism in Brazil 25 years ago and was given the name Ararê - friend of parrots.

The forest doesn’t heal by doing anything special.

It heals by being what it is:
interconnected, rhythmic, alive, patient.

When you spend time there,
your body remembers how to be the same.

You don’t need to try harder.
You need to return to what already knows how to hold you.

During my last visit to an indigenous community in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest, something struck me deeply — not during ceremony, but in the quiet moments in between.
People moved slowly.
There was time to pause, to sit, to feel.
No one rushed their bodies out of what they were experiencing.
I realized that what I was witnessing wasn’t just “culture” or “tradition.”
It was nervous system regulation woven into daily life.
In that environment, survival didn’t mean constant alertness.
Safety was relational.
Regulation was communal.
Rhythm was present in everyday activities.
Coming back to modern life, the contrast was stark.
Many of us live in bodies shaped by chronic stress, early overwhelm, or long-term adaptation. Our nervous systems learned how to survive — staying alert, shutting down, pushing through, holding it together — often without the conditions needed to truly settle.
What indigenous cultures have long understood, neuroscience is now confirming:
without regulation, healing struggles to take root.

My upcoming online workshop, Surviving to Thriving, was born from this intersection — indigenous wisdom and somatic nervous system work, offered in a trauma-aware, grounded, and accessible way.
As a somatic experiencing practitioner and shamanic healer, I don’t believe healing comes from forcing change.
It comes from creating enough safety for the nervous system to heal itself.
This is about learning how to live in your body now — with more ease, resilience, and aliveness.
Thriving is a physiological state — and it can be cultivated.

When you learn to understand your body language,
the sensations that once felt overwhelming
become information, guidance, and support.

Healing becomes less about fixing
and more about coming home to yourself.

January opens the year quietly.

After the threshold of the Solstice,
the light has returned, but slowly.
The Earth is still resting, and so are we.

This is not the energy of instant momentum
it is the energy of setting roots.

January is not a sprint.
It is a sacred pause,
a time to choose your direction
before the world speeds up again.

Let your beginnings be slow.
Let them be intentional.
Let them be true.

The plants hold memory.

They remember the storms, the sun, the rain, and the cycles of the Earth. They carry wisdom in their leaves, roots, flowers, and seeds.

When we open ourselves to their presence,
we are reminded of our own roots, cycles, and resilience.

Sit. Breathe. Listen.
The plants are speaking.
And they remember you.

🦋 Meaningful transformation

It’s time to set intentions that your soul and the universe can recognize.

Intentions aren’t about forcing yourself to change—they’re about aligning with your truth.
That’s why I’m inviting you to join me for The Art of Setting Intentions—a two-part workshop on December 28th and January 4th, where we’ll explore ancient practices and modern tools to help you set intentions that actually transform your life.
We’ll also be joined by special guests, wise elders Carlos Sauer and Angelique Boas, who will share their wisdom with us.
Recording included. Comment below to receive the registration link.

Our Story

Hello, my name is Andréa. I am a shamanic practitioner and healer born and raised in Brazil. For almost 10 years, I have been creating safe spaces for healing, awareness, empowerment, and higher levels of consciousness, leading ceremonies in NYC, Budapest, and London. I am also a mother, a wife, a sister for many, and a proud daughter of Mother Earth.

My practices include intuitive readings and chakra balancing, ancestral healing, and healing through traditional shamanic rituals and sounds, using many tools and techniques I've learned over the past 30 years. My offerings are nurturing and, through drumming, promote a mildly altered state of consciousness that allows participants to connect with their inner voice. Modern life, with all its comforts, has taken from us the traditions of connecting with rituals, ceremonies, and sacred spaces, and I am dedicated to re-creating these opportunities.

During my initiation into Shamanism, I was given the name Ararê - a friend of parrots. I've always had a deep love of and interest in nature and spirituality, and Shamanism encompasses this perfect combination.

Shamanism is an ancient healing tradition and a way to honor and connect with nature and reconnect with self. Through its studies and practices, I developed an understanding of honoring Mother Earth as the divine sacred feminine - Gaia. Later I was trained in feminine shamanism, a practice to reclaim the sacredness and power of the feminine. My previous working life was as an engineer, most recently in sustainable energy, and energy has always been part of my life!
