from last MHFA session !

Christina was absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t of had a better tutor. I was particularly nervous due to have Asperger’s myself and having lost my fiancé to su***de 18 months previous. Christina kept checking on me throughout and put me at such ease. I have learnt so much from her, and feel like I have also learnt a lot about myself. I will be shouting far and wide about this course and how everyone needs to do it.
Christina was amazing! I really feel like I've already started making changes in the way I approach people and situations already. The group were great and everything was so informative. A massive thank you to Christina for making me feel so comfortable and being so open with us.
Christina, the instructor was good at encouraging discussion in the group which was hugely helpful in gaining knowledge of different experiences/situations/ understanding. The group itself made the difference to the course - lots of sharing and support for one another. The materials provided were very good and will be extremely useful references for the future. I would say that it should be made clear that the 'preparation' isn't actually preparation and is in fact part of the overall assessment - this wasn't specified and some people were a bit concerned when they realised that the work that was to be done in the learning hub counted towards them passing the course.
Great facilitator, group and course. Brilliant training experience.
I thought the course was fantastic! So inspirational and I feel I learnt loads. The course facilitator, Christina was incredible. She delivered the course with so much passion and her knowledge around mental health was inspiring. I really respected Christina for using a lot of her own personal experiences, that really added to the course and our learning. I'm leaving the course with a better understanding of how to support someone that might be struggling with their mental health but also with a happy heart as it was so lovely to meet and connect with so many great people!
The course was so much more than I expected. I learned so much, feel so much more comfortable talking about mental health issues and will be telling so many people about how great it is. Christina was absolutely brilliant and made the group so warm and inviting. It didn't feel like being taught, we were a group of people helping each other.
This is the second MHFA course I have done (previously the youth one). Christina was fantastic! She was very knowledgable, personable and warm cannot praise her enough. She tackled a very difficult but important subject brilliantly whilst you could also tell she was looking out for the welfare of the delegates at the same time. Thank you!
