5 Ways to Boost Your Confidence
1. Pick a confident person you admire - it could be someone you know, a movie/TV character or someone famous. When you need to be extra confident try 'channeling' that person. Think about how they dress, walk, move, talk and use that to inspire you when you need it. You could literally say I'm gonna channel my inner Mel Robbins (or whoever works for you) in this moment and adopt some of their qualities when you need it.
2. Identify a power outfit/accessory and wear it when you need a kickass confidence boost. It could be a pair of shoes, a jacket, or a piece of statement jewellery. But when you put it on it instantly makes you feel more confident.
3. Be intentional with the words you use and how you speak, even if only speaking to yourself. The words you use have meaning and will impact how you feel. The more positive and affirming words you use, the more confident you will feel.
4. Surround yourself with other confident people. The people you hang out with will impact your confidence. Confident people act and speak differently and it will rub off on you.
5. Become the person you're aiming for. When you have a clear idea of what you want in life and the goals you're working towards, you should also have an idea of who you need to become. You should become that person now, act as if you've already achieved that goal and you will approach everything with a more confident energy.
