Quality of testing so important! 18 months, x4 specialists later, diagnosis eventually only after “new round of hearing tests that differed markedly from the original audiology results”. Unfortunately too common & quality of testing can be so variable in both & investigations.

Her 18-month quest for a cure involved an allergist, an endocrinologist and two additional ENTS, the second of whom found the underlying and treatable reason for the problem.
