Dr Ivy talks all things Chin Filler with

“One thing that really surprised me about chin filler is how infrequently you need it topped up in comparison to other areas where filler can be injected,” writes for Cosmo. “For example, I tend to get small touch-ups in my upper lip every 6-8 months. However, chin filler usually only needs to be re-injected every 18 months to maintain results, says Dr Ivy; “sometimes even longer due to the positioning of the filler under the mentalis muscle.” Essentially, because our chin is fairly static (in contrast to our lips, for example, which move all the time!), the filler doesn’t break down as quickly. This is also due to the type of filler used in this area.”
