👩🏻‍🎓IT IS GrADUATION Time!I stand here today incredibly proud and deeply fortunate.

🌱Growing up on a farm in Brazil, without any financial conditions, I never imagined that my journey would lead me to stand here today, graduating with a Medical MD in Women & Children’s Health from King’s College London, One of the most prestigious university in the world👩🏻‍🎓🎓.
🌍My path has taken me across continents and through UK elite sport, public healthcare, and private practice - including my Nutrition Clinic, roles at Chelsea FC, Oval Medical Centre, and the NHS
🍒each experience shaping both my professional values and my sense of purpose.
🙏God has always provided me with the strength, opportunities, and guidance needed to reach this moment.
🩺This Medical degree demanded intellectual rigour, resilience, and deep reflection, and strengthened my belief in the power of education, research, compassion, and early intervention to improve the lives of women and children.
❤️I am deeply grateful to my family for their unwavering support and sacrifices, and to my lecturers whose guidance, passion, and belief made this achievement possible.

🙌New episode 🙌 AI and Nutrition

In this episode we hear from Markus Stripf, an insightful co-founder who built tech company, Spoon Guru, around nutrition expertise. Anna doesn’t hold back with some of her questions:

❓Is this our time to battle the bots?

The response from Markus was not only reassuring, but inspired both Anna and Danielle and has been the subject of many of our conversations since.

📍Finally! Restricting promotions of products high in fat, sugar or salt (HFSS) by location and by volume price:

The Government finally introduce restricting the promotion of HFSS products by volume price (for example, multibuy offers such as ‘buy one get one free’) and location, both online and in store Is Here👏

The regulations provide for restrictions on the promotions of certain foods and drinks that are high in fat, salt or sugar (HFSS) or ‘less healthy’. The restriction regulations will come into force on 1 October 2022.
🍒
Evidence shows that food retail price promotions are widespread and effective at influencing food preferences and purchases (particularly for children). Previous reports recommended that reducing and rebalancing promotions towards healthier food and drink is essential to help reduce children’s sugar and calorie intakes, and help tackle obesity.
