We’ve all been there criticising our bodies from our 20s through our 50s, never quite feeling satisfied, even when we’re doing our best.

I did exactly the same thing. I exercised, ate well, taught classes... but the real shift didn’t happen until after menopause and lockdown, when old habits crept back in and my body started changing in ways I didn’t expect.

If you’re struggling with weight loss postmenopause, know this: Cravings, hunger, and body changes are real challenges, and they don’t make you weak they make you human.

This journey has been hard, but every step has taught me to be kinder to myself and to focus on sustainable habits, not quick fixes.
