My treatment room is in the old stable block of Lewes House. And was owned by an influential and hugely successful art dealer called Edward Perry Warren.
He commissioned Rodin to make him an anatomically correct larger than life version of the Kiss which he stored for a while in this very building. At the time the art work was considered far too erotic for Public consumption and was hidden away here. Now of course, it’s considered to be the best of the three made by Rodin and is proudly displayed for the whole Nation to enjoy at Tate Britain @ Lewesarthistory
