New Year's Eve doesn’t feel the same for everyone
For some, it’s fireworks and celebration.
For others, it’s quiet, reflection, memory, or simply getting through the night.
If this year has taken things from you — people, certainty, versions of yourself — you don’t have to dress tonight up as hope if it doesn’t feel true. There is no obligation to celebrate loss away.
Tonight can be small.
It can be soft.
It can be tea instead of champagne.
Candles instead of fireworks.
Rest instead of resolution.
If you’re carrying grief, you’re not doing the new year “wrong”.
You’re doing it honestly.
And maybe that’s where hope lives —
not in sudden joy, but in staying.
In breathing.
In choosing gentleness when the world feels loud.
May the year ahead meet you where you are.
May it offer moments of steadiness, warmth, and quiet strength.
And may peace be allowed to arrive slowly, without needing to announce itself.

Hope you all survived the ‘festive’ days in whichever way you could.
For many, this year has been heavy, strange, or downright exhausting — and it’s okay to admit that.
As we approach the turning of the year, let’s be glad to see the back of what needs releasing, and make space for 2026 — a new year with room for joy, healing, and new opportunities, in whatever form they arrive. 🐺✨
