Neck and shoulder pain from desk work or sitting long time? The real problem might not be where you think. 🪑💻

When you sit for hours, your belly, chest, and front ribcage shorten and compress. This pulls your shoulder blades down and outward, forcing your shoulders forward. Your thin neck muscles work overtime pulling your head back into position - overusing your shoulder and neck muscles constantly.

Here’s what most therapy gets wrong:
Most treatments focus only on tight shoulders and neck muscles - the painful areas. But without opening up the chest and ribcage, your posture actually becomes harder to maintain. You’re fighting against a closed, compressed front body.

My Seitai approach is different:

I ease your whole spine instead of just working the pain area. By releasing the front body - chest, ribs, and belly - your shoulder blades can naturally settle back, and your neck muscles can finally relax.

🍂 November brings shorter days and cooler weather… and often stiff, achy backs.
Feeling that crunch in your shoulders and neck? Pulled something while lifting? You’re not alone - I’ve been seeing so many clients lately dealing with lower back and neck tension.

⚠️ Important tip: If you’ve pulled a muscle, REST for 2-3 days first! I know it’s tempting to push through, but that inflammation needs time to settle. Don’t underestimate it - I’ve seen too many people make it worse by carrying on!

💆‍♀️ My approach:
After proper rest, seitai massage looks at your WHOLE body - not just where it hurts. We’ll check:
• Legs and hip alignment
• Shoulder blade mobility
• Psoas and abs
• All the areas that might be causing restrictions
