Please don't miss out on this opportunity.

So many people tell me that they are finding it a struggle to afford their usual weekly shop, so if you live in Hayle, why not order a trolley of food for £30!

The Pop-up Food Hub is not a Food Bank, so there is no need to feel that you are taking something that you are not entitled to, or taking from others more needy. It's about reducing food waste as well as food poverty.

We've tried it for ourselves, and the volume of food you receive is truly incredible! A great way to fill up the freezer and feed the family.

Are you feeling Black Friday pressure?
You’re not alone...

With Black Friday adverts and pop-ups everywhere you look, it’s easy to feel like you should be buying more for Christmas; more gifts, bigger gifts, expensive gifts.

But here’s a gentle reminder: you don’t need to overspend to show you care.

Time, connection, kindness and presence often matter far more than presents.

If your budget is tight this year, that’s okay.
If you choose thoughtful over costly, that’s okay.
If you decide not to join the rush at all... also okay.

Christmas isn’t a competition.

It’s about the people you spend it with, not the price tag on what goes under the tree. 🎄💛

We always appreciate hearing from the families we support, but when kind words land in our inbox without us even asking, it’s something truly special.

There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing our Helpers are making a real difference in people’s lives. Every message, every thank you, every story of someone feeling safer, happier or more supported… it reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

To the lovely person who shared this feedback; Thank you 🙏
And to all the families who trust us: we’re grateful for you, always.

Here’s to more kindness, more connection and more good days together

This November, we want to remind every man-no one needs to face challenges alone. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, but a simple gesture, like sharing a cup of tea and talking things through, can mean the world. 💛

At Good Life Sorted, our Helpers bring genuine friendship and understanding with every visit-whether you’re looking for company, a listening ear, or just someone by your side. Connection and kindness are at the heart of what we do, so if you need support, there’s always someone ready to walk alongside you.

Let’s break the silence around men’s mental health, encourage more conversations, and show that support is available. We’re here and you’re never alone.

With temperatures forecasted to drop across the UK over the next few days, it’s important to make sure that we’re looking out for our loved ones living with dementia.

Winter can be a particularly difficult time for somebody living with dementia. The bad weather and colder temperatures can bring specific challenges, and can sometimes make symptoms temporarily worse.

They may not always be able to communicate that they are cold – or they might not even recognise it themselves.

Perception issues can also make it difficult for someone with dementia to see icy patches on a pavement or understand that a surface may be extra slippery.

So make sure to check in regularly on loved ones, friends and neighbours living with dementia, and follow our useful tips to help support them through the winter.

With Cornwall now under an amber weather warning for snow and ice, we thought it would be helpful to share some of our top tips for staying warm and well in the colder months, especially for those who may feel the chill a little more.

Here are a few of our favourite winter wellness tips from the Good Life Sorted team:

🧣Layers, layers and (you've guessed it!) more layers!
Light layers trap heat better than one thick jumper, also they are far easier to adjust as the day goes on.

🍲 Keep Comfort Food Simple
Warming meals like homemade soup, slow-cooker stews or porridge are nourishing, budget-friendly and perfect for chilly days. Helper Sarah regularly makes soup with her customers!

☕ Warm Up From the Inside
Herbal teas, hot squash or even warm water with lemon can help you stay hydrated and warm.

🏠 Create a Cosy Corner
A warm blanket, good lighting and a favourite book or radio show can turn any room into a comforting space. Also remembering to close internal doors will reduce draughts and trap warm air in to rooms.

💛 Stay Connected
A quick chat with a friend, neighbour or family member can brighten even the coldest winter day.

And remember — our Good Life Sorted Helpers in Cornwall are here to make winter easier. From shopping and errands to companionship, meal prep and welfare checks, we’re here to support you or your loved ones to stay safe, warm and well.

If you’d like to learn more, just send us a message or call the team on 01872 303986 to find out about how you can book your first visit completely free.
