💥 Are you missing out on money you’re entitled to? 💥

Every year, over £23 billion in welfare benefits go unclaimed — often by people who are older, have health issues, or are on a lower income.

A common myth is that you can’t claim benefits if you own your home or have savings. This is not true!

Many benefits are based on health, disability, or other needs — not your income or savings.

✅ That’s why we’re offering a FREE Welfare Benefits Assessment for a limited time.
In just 15–30 minutes, one of our expert advisers can check what you might be entitled to and show you how to claim it — completely confidentially.

We’ve already helped hundreds of people claim thousands of pounds for:
🏠 Help at home
🚗 Transport
💡 Bills
…and more — all while keeping their independence.

⏳ Offer ends 31 August (subject to availability).
📅 Book your free appointment today and don’t miss out.

Journaling can be a helpful tool for individuals with dementia. It can improve cognitive function, provide an emotional outlet, and help maintain a sense of identity and self-awareness.

The benefits of journaling for those affected by dementia are:

🌸 Cognitive Stimulation:
Writing, especially by hand, can stimulate brain activity and potentially slow down memory loss by strengthening neural connections.

🌸 Emotional Expression:
Journaling provides a safe space for individuals to express feelings, frustrations, and happy memories, which can alleviate anxiety and promote emotional well-being.

🌸 Improved Communication:
Journaling can help individuals with dementia communicate their thoughts and feelings to caregivers, strengthening bonds and fostering understanding.

🌸 Sense of Identity and Self-Awareness:
Creating a journal allows individuals to reflect on their lives and maintain a sense of who they are, which can be particularly helpful when memory is fading.

🌸 Tracking Symptoms and Identifying Triggers:
Caregivers can use journals to track changes in behaviour, identify potential triggers for difficult situations, and understand what strategies are helpful or unhelpful.

Want to learn how to create a wild journal for yourself? Liskeard Library are hosting a workshop on the 30th August. 👇

Come and take part in a wonderful journaling workshop led by the amazing Suzanna Jay, aka The Wild Scribe, - who is part of an immense journaling community on Instagram. Perfect for all ages and all levels of journaling experience.

Working in any little A6 notebook or journal insert that you should choose to bring along, this workshop will focus on how to set up your own Garden or Botanical journal.

This journal workshop is specifically aimed at encouraging us all to get outdoors more; to enjoy our local woodlands & parks and to celebrate nature within our own gardens! Let's try to take a little more notice of the beautiful local flora that surrounds us every day, and take heart from the miniature works of art growing courageously beneath our feet throughout each and every season.

please book early to avoid disappointment.

Did you also know that if you lose your medication while on holiday (or run out of it outside of your GP's usual opening hours), you can obtain an emergency prescription by calling 111 or using the NHS 111 online service!

They can assess your situation and potentially refer you to a pharmacy for an emergency supply of your medication.
