We’re proud to conclude the ALS Kindness Campaign spotlight, running across our laboratories for World Kindness Day 2025.

🔶 Today’s focus:
Compassion – “Pause, assume positive intent, respond with humanity.”

In our labs, compassion means taking a moment before reacting, recognising the pressures colleagues and clinicians may be under, and choosing actions that support the person as well as the task, whether that’s a considerate handover, a calm call to a practice, or kind, constructive feedback.

As part of the campaign, ALS will be donating to Crisis, helping support people experiencing homelessness through the winter period.

World Kindness Day! We’re proud to continue the ALS Kindness Campaign for today's World Kindness Day!

🔶 Today’s focus:
Thoughtfulness – “Prepare ahead, give context, remove friction.”

In our labs, thoughtfulness means planning ahead (clear prescriptions, shade info and scans), giving concise context (photos and clinical notes), and removing friction (flagging turnaround times, organising kits, scheduling couriers) so colleagues, clinicians and patients get a smoother experience.

🔶 Today’s focus: Helping – “Step in when the workload increases.”
In our labs, helping means stepping in during busy periods so colleagues can finish on time, offering support when cases stack up, and sharing tasks to keep things running smoothly for clinicians and patients.
