As much as the beautiful ☀️ weather lifts mood we also need to ensure we are keeping our Clients & Staff safe. ☀️

☀️We have stepped down our uniform policy so staff can keep cool, they are required to wear their ID.

☀️We are stepping up our welfare calls to clients which usually happens Bi weekly to daily to check in and remind our clients to drink

☀️Staff are on high alert looking out for any heat related illnesses and taking quick action to respond

☀️We always ensure our clients have access to fresh fluid however ALOT of our lovely clients love tea! We are encouraging clients to drink cold water/Juice

☀️ Ensuring clients have lighter blankets & clothing & ensuring they are offered a cold flannel to freshen up on each visit,

☀️Reminding staff to keep themselves safe out in the community! Taking regular breaks & Grabbing and ice cream 🍦/ cold drink! 🥤

As much as the hot weather is amazing there is a harsh reality is can be dangerous! Look after yourselves. ☀️

Our lovely Parveen visited Dubai with her husband and family, she will always check in and say hello and send us a picture which we just LOVE! 🥰

Parveen is back to work this morning all the girls say oh no back to reality she says “never I love my job with all of my heart” 💖

Rolo took some well deserved annual leave a few weeks ago to attend a wedding, 💍

He of course stole everyone’s hearts. ♥️

Rolo is on visits over the coming weeks! Clients & Families can book visits with Rolo at anytime, his only condition is he gets a rich tea. He’s very low maintenance…… NOT 🐶 🐶 🐶

Dogs offer significant benefits to the elderly and people with disabilites by providing companionship, reducing loneliness, and encouraging physical activity.

They can also stimulate cognitive function, improve emotional stability, and even help reduce the risk of developing certain disabilities like dementia. 🐶

Let’s hope the sun ☀️ stays out for us this week so we can eat more ice cream 🍦 without feeling bad! 🙂

Summer time is always such a lovely time to deliver care as you get the tour of clients pride and joy their gardens 🪴

I think we should start some kind of competition as there are some impressive gardens, our ladies and gents pride and joy! It’s always lovely to hear of the memories they have and it’s lovely to know how much joy their gardens bring to them! ☀️ 🍃 🌳

And of course Mrs M ‘s beautiful dog who was having some interesting words with the dog next door. 🐶

Happy Monday! Lucy here!

Over the weekend I visited one of our lovely ladies! We had been chatting away and in the corner of my eye I saw a millwall flag, I said Mrs M are you a millwall fan?

“Oh no Lucy absolutely not but my son is” I said ah my dad was a die hard Millwall fan back in the 90s and there is a picture of me sitting on the Millwall carpet he had put down, she looked at me very disturbed and said your kidding .. I proceeded to show her this photo of me in 1995 😂

She said you poor thing, are you a Millwall fan I said no I’m not she said she wasn’t surprised! 🙃

Even Millwall FC can bring some laugh and joy to visits with clients! It’s always so lovely when you end up having something very unique in common! She was laughing still as I was leaving!

Our Annual Trip To The Sea Side - Bournemouth 🏝️

Thursday 26th JUNE 2025

Slots now available we only have 6 places so please be quick! 🐚

Bournemouth being in the top 3 accessible beaches on the south coast we thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to bring some of our wonderful clients for a day trip! 🏝️ 🏖️

Our itinerary is as follows,

Pick ups will be around 09.30 ⏰
Arrive in Bournemouth 11.30 🚗
Stroll along the West Cliff past all the beach huts 🏖️
Fish & Chip 🐠 🍟 Lunch
Spend the afternoon along the pier exploring
Stop for some doughnuts & Candyfloss
Pop into the arcades to play 🅾️ & ❌
Grab a souvenir 🎁

Head Back Home 🏡 15:30 🕞

Please note we will have trained carers present to support clients & as always we are always looking for volunteers to help 🙂
