What’s going on today at our home?
We held a lovely coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support . ☕🍰🧁

A special shoutout to our wonderful resident Pat H, who generously donated homemade cakes for the event, thank you so much, Pat! 💚

The morning was filled with music, laughter, and classic party dances like Wig Wam Bam, Agadoo, Y.M.C.A., Superman, and more! 🎶🕺🎤

We sang, danced, laughed, and made memories, all the ingredients for a perfect day. 💃😊🎉

Elijah came in with his Switch to play some Mario Kart with Sidney and Teresa. There was loads of fun and friendly competition all around! 🏎️😄

☀️ Soaking Up the Last of Summer at Gold Care Homes! ☀️

Everyone at had an absolute blast making the most of the final days of summer! 🌻

From vibrant themed BBQs to joyful garden parties, our residents had a wonderful time surrounded by friends, family, and sunshine. ❤️

🌧️ Garden party? Where?! Indoors, of course! 🤣
We didn’t let the weather rain on our parade because we brought all the sunshine inside for our annual Garden Party & BBQ! 🍔

Our dining room was filled with music, dancing, singing, laughter, and the most incredible energy. The fabulous Ms Claudia F lifted everyone’s spirits and if you came in feeling low, you certainly left with a smile and a happy heart. 💃🎶💛

Residents, staff, and families had a blast, proof that it's not about where you are, but who you're with! 🌟

Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside! 🌊☀️

We had a lovely day out in Southend with Pat H., Roy, Charlie, Henry, Margaret, and her daughter Claire all joined us for a seaside adventure aboard one of Gold Care Homes’ very own minibuses (with our friendly driver, of course!). 🚌💛

Once there, we enjoyed lunch, a stroll along the seafront, and even popped into Pleasure Beach to watch the rides in action. 🎡🎢 Pat H. and Charlie joked that they’d be on the big ones!

The sun was shining, the company was great, and the day was full of laughter and seaside memories. 🌞🍦

So long, farewell, and good luck! 💐

Today we say a heartfelt goodbye to our beloved administrator, Karen, who has officially retired from Charlton Park. Karen has been an incredible support to our staff, residents, and families and always there with a kind word, a helping hand, and a warm smile. She’s been a huge part of the Charlton Park community, and her presence will be deeply missed.☺️

We made the most of the sunshine in the garden! Roy and Dolce the dog became the best of friends, they couldn’t keep away from each other. Lots of smiles, strokes, and tail wags all around! 🐾☀️
