Did you know that if you have type 2 diabetes you have an increased risk of fatty liver disease, heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, nerve damage, eye problems, and other conditions?

There is a misconception that liver disease only affects those who drink a lot of alcohol, but it is caused by having too much fat around your liver which causes damage.

Many people do not have symptoms, but some people find they feel very tired, generally unwell, or have liver pain or discomfort.

If you are concerned about fatty liver disease, you should speak to a healthcare professional.
