🌟 Celebrating Excellence at Windmill Lodge 🌟

We are proud to share the inspiring story of Linu Mon, a Team Leader here at Windmill Lodge and known in the cricketing world as Linu Stanly.

From playing cricket as a child in India to securing a professional contract overseas, Linu’s journey has been marked by resilience and determination. Despite setbacks caused by injury and the pandemic, his passion never faded, and today he plays professionally for EMCC Cricket Club, where his achievements include league recognition and honours at both national and county level.

Alongside his sporting career, Linu continues to make an outstanding impact at Windmill Lodge, where his compassion and commitment to care were recognised when he was awarded Employee of the Month.

His story is a true reminder that with perseverance, anything is possible. We are proud to support Linu in both his career in care and his continued success in cricket.

People who live at the Home had an interesting time with Martin of Bluecare Wellbeing during Arts and Crafts Therapy today, they learnt new things as they painted sharks and whales while listening to whale songs.

The Together Project's Songs and Smiles Mother and Baby Group are back with us, they sang nursery rhymes with the people that live in the Home and the babies had a chance to meet and play with the people.

Members of the Celestial Church of Christ, Elephant and Castle branch came to visit the people in the Home, as part of their annual harvest community outreach. They presented the Home with a fruit hamper and a cheque. They then spent some time with the people who live in the Home singing and talking with them. The people enjoyed it. We at Windmill Care Home express our gratitude to the Celestial Church of Christ, Elephant and Castle branch. Thank you very much.
