It was Spring 2012; the sun was shining bright and the birds were singing – another beautiful typical day. I went on with my routine as usual – breakfast, a call with Mum and a good cup of coffee, except… it was the coffee that threw me off that morning, it had an unusual taste and that abnormality began to reflect on my mind state… a feeling of uncertainty and impending change. Later on during that day – I discovered that I had a new little life growing inside of me; this was the beginning for my daughter – Mia. As a family, we all have genuine and eternal love for children – it has followed us through generations. With this in mind, every product that we create is made with heartfelt devotion in the hope that we can provide the highest satisfaction in the most unique of products. My endorphins erupted upon the news that I was having a baby, I focused all my joy and excitement on creating this unique and breath-taking world for my little girl – my ideas were vivid and plentiful, I could not contain them! I was desperate to give her this fairy-tale-like world that I was imagining. Sadly, after much searching and enquiring – there was just not enough variety and a lack of options. It was a repetitive market with designs and patterns that mirrored each other, the colour combinations echoed other brands. The more I explored, the more my creative dream seemed to become further and further out of my reach. Time ticked along and I was beginning to think that there was no hope, that I might have to conform to purchasing the only available things, the typical and common patterns, the same old colours. I hadn’t been the only one fretting about not being able to welcome Mia in to this world with something special and unique; I think that it was at this point that my Mother and soon to be ‘Grandmother’ may have been blessed with an extra title of ‘Fairy Godmother’! I always knew that she could work magic – and that is just what she did! After many sketches, designs and fabric store journeys wide, our spectacular visions came to life, we knew that we were a dream team and that the creations we had finely crafted were truly surreal. Many nights I would sit in Mia’s future bedroom trying to imagine the thrilling and joyous life that she will soon begin; the colourful universe that we had created just for her and the finishing touch that would complete this universe – the last shining star to add to the creation – my princess! And this is the core of our creativity: we want the gift you with the fanciful world that you have always imagined for your little loves, but none of this is complete without a beloved child. Children complete our passion and soul, they are the single and most precious thing in our personal lives and we do what we do to show people like you that we share this with you; that we understand what makes your heartbeat. We began as a tight circle of friends and family, blessing one another with these beautiful creations – it wasn’t long before we realised the satisfaction and heartfelt happiness that we were able to deliver and were hungry to expand into a global gift to all and any that desired it. We will never forget the day that we opened our arms to the public and received the response that we had previously only received from our circle, it was an astounding day of accomplishment and achievement, it was the day that we knew that we had found what we loved and in exchange – were cherished for it.
