✨ Appreciation Poem ✨
Love from The Girls in Pink (Lifestyles)

At The Spinney we laugh, we care, we roam,
But most of all, we make this house a home.

With heroes galore (but no capes to be seen),
We’re the brightest, boldest, best care team!

Day carers dash with tea and toast,
Keeping calm when it's chaos most.

Day seniors leading with grace and flair,
They’ve always got time, and always care.

When the moon is up and the halls grow still,
Night carers glide in with warmth and will.

Night seniors, too, never miss a beat Even zombies fear their night-time feet!

Our kitchen staff ... Luciano, Ang and Josh bring the flavour and spice,
Even broccoli’s good (well… once or twice).

Ang in the bistro – she’s got that style,
Serving up smiles with every mile.

Paige in laundry - Queen of the fluff.
She’s seen every sock, every stain, every scuff.
How she handles it all, no one quite knows,
She’s folded more pants than M&S clothes!

Alan the handyman – legend on wheels,
Fixing the boiler or greasing the seals.
If something’s broken, don’t worry, he’ll sort it,
With a drill in one hand and jokes that are imported.

Julie’s in the office, typing away,
Emails, reports, 500 a day.
She’s probably answering the 12th phone call,
While balancing spreadsheets and dodging a fall!

Jenny the stylist, with scissors and sass,
Curling and clipping with absolute class.
She paints nails and trims with artistic delight,
You’ll leave looking fab—even if it’s midnight!

The cleaners, unsung sparkly brigade,
Wielding mops like ninjas on parade.
Without their work, let’s be real, we’d drown
In biscuit crumbs and a very sticky brown.

Lisa and Jinal, steering the ship,
Navigating bumps with a leadership whip.
They run the show, with heart and pride.

The Spinney team we appreciate you, you're legends here.
You make the days bright, the nights calm and sweet,
With care in your hearts and love on repeat.

Heroes without capes, it’s true,
Spinney’s the magic – and it’s all thanks to you.

❤️🐴 We had the most Amazing visit from performing pets today, they brought in the lovely greyson a two year old miniature American horse. He was so well behaved and loved by all the residents, staff and of course our Archie 🐴❤️
