With a background in mental health work, I am unlikely to be shocked by much. So if you have something that's holding you back that you want freedom from and need a safe space to explore, why not try an EFT session with me. I offer face to face sessions in Welwyn Garden and Letchworth and online sessions via Skype or Zoom. This is a brilliant way to use EFT.
First choose something that you'd like to tap on (anything that's bothering you from a physical pain, an emotional irritation or something that causes you distress = but book with a practitioner if it's big)
Then decide what your emotion is when you focus on the issue. Where does it fit on this scale
1. Joy/Knowledge/Empowerment/Freedom/Love/Appreciation
2. Passion
3. Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
4. Positive Expectation/Belief
5. Optimism
6. Hopefulness
7. Contentment
8. Boredom
9. Pessimism
10. Frustration/Irritation/Impatience
11. “Overwhelment”
12. Disappointment
13. Doubt
14. Worry
15. Blame
16. Discouragement
17. Anger
18. Revenge
19. Hatred/Rage
20. Jealousy
21. Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness
22. Fear/Grief/Depression/Despair/Powerlessness

So - when I think about this issue I feel despair that it'll ever change would be 22, if it's rage 19 or irritation 10. Then start tapping using that feeling "Even though I feel despair when I think about x ...". Keep tapping until the intensity reduces and see where you are now on the scale.

Top tip for today: if you want more abundance or peace or love notice when you cringe at something and tap on it. Do you feel embarrassed when someone compliments you or someone gives you a gift? Tap until it makes sense and then tap to release it. Do you feel uncomfortable when something's expensive? Tap to understand it. Do you feel jealous of others? Tap until it changes.

How have you done with the tapping challenge? I hope it's made a difference for you. If you enjoyed it, or if you missed it, I'm going to start a tapalong from next Monday for 10 days, tapping on self-acceptance. It'll be similar to the one some of you have just done but will hopefully build on that work. It's completely free and you can either tap on the audios through instagram or facebook but if you want to give me your email address, I will send you the audio each day. Some people have said they'd like a reminder. I can be your accountability partner and you can email in each day once you've completed the tap along as a way of you keeping yourself going if that helps. Completely up to you 😊 Send me a message with your email if you want or just tune in over the next few days when I will post an audio of how to tap and a tapping diagram. Love this video particularly because of the baby's laugh at the end.
So tomorrow is the last official day of the 8 day 'I am enough' challenge. But you may be behind or ahead ~ that's ok. What have you learned? Have you moved closer to accepting yourself just as you are, warts n all? Are you able now to leave behind the weight of not being good enough and act with freedom and self belief? If doubts creep to the surface as I say this, tap tomorrow on those doubts and try to release them. Sometimes its a struggle to believe you are enough. I find that anyway. Don't feel you have to stick to the words on Nick Ortner's tapalong. You could tap on every point again and again saying, 'I am not enough', 'I really can't believe I'm enough' 'I should be better'. Stick with the negative for as long as you need. Sometimes you just need to acknowledge the fear that you aren't enough before you can clear a space for the opposite to seem possible
