Trek4Ceylon (T4C) cycle across Sri Lanka as a symbol of healing, restoration and hope for this island nation.

Trek4Ceylon Ltd is a charity registered in the United Kingdom, which raises funds through cycling, marathons, trekking, walking and other activities to provide support to the medical infrastructure and underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka and other countries across the world. We ride together across Sri Lanka as a visible symbol of our hope and desire to bring physical, emotional and mental healing, as well as unity and peace, to a land scarred by war and division. Trek4Ceylon is run by a group of volunteers who are keen to help the less fortunate, and strive to operate the charity with integrity and transparency. The bike ride is organised and run by a dedicated T4C team. We work together with other Trek for Ceylon charities based in Canada, Australia, USA and Sri Lanka. Aussie and UK T4C riders prepping for T4C2026 🚴🏻🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

A team of 4 Trek4Ceylon UK trekkers led by Ronnie Smith including David Rasiah, Kate Neville and Jerry Smith will take on The Gurkha Welfare Trust’s Trailwalker Challenge from 19 to 21 September 2025. The group will be attempting to traverse the 100km route across the South Downs Way in under 22 hours though the stipulated time is 30 hours.

Teams from the Gurkha Regiments lead the charge.

Trek4Ceylon UK is committed to supporting other local charities in the UK.

*Project Update – St. Luke’s Methodist Hospital (Puttur Mission) Restoration & Renovation Project August 27th 2025*

Dear Riders, Donors, and Supporters,

It was deeply encouraging to see such a passionate and committed group come together to move this project forward. With this successful kickoff, we are now well on our way to seeing the vision for the hospital and elders’ home become a reality.
