I have just had a week skiing in Crans Montana, Switzerland for the first time in 4 years. No pain, no swelling , wore new knee braces with metal side supports, and skied about 40K per day according to strava from Glacier to flat, down all black runs ( but staying off moguls and off piste!)

Happy days….keeping up the exercise on water rower, and static turbo trainer cycle. Right Knee and leg getting stronger, and currently no issues with left!

Now i have two daughters Weddings in the next 18 months, and a dance floor to get ready to clear!

My patient is doing really well following Bereiter Trochleoplasty at The Princess Grace Hospital hospital London yesterday.

I am one of the few surgeons in London who performs this complex procedure for patellar instability due to Trochleor dysplasia.

Trochlear dysplasia is a structural abnormality of the shallow or convex-shaped groove at the end of the femur (thigh bone) where the kneecap (patella) normally glides. This condition is a common cause of chronic patellar instability (recurrent kneecap dislocations).
