Today, we celebrate a truly special milestone. 30 years since Fleet Street Clinic & Whitby & Co. first opened their doors in the heart of London.

What began as a shared vision for timely, personalised and compassionate care has grown into a trusted practice serving thousands, from journalists and legal professionals to global travellers, theatre companies and even a few rock legends along the way.

In September 2021, Public Health England released new rules surrounding the timing of BCG vaccination, increasing the minimum age of vaccination to 28 days. It was implemented in line with a pilot disease screening programme that tests newborns for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID).

It is important to wait for the result of this test before we can provide the BCG vaccine; results becomes available by the time your baby is 6 weeks old.

Why are we sharing this information? Well it turns out a lot of people still are unaware of this requirement meaning they book their child's BCG vaccination too early.
