During my studies I was able to specialize in strength and conditioning, and completed my dissertation in exercise physiology. 🍳 Blood sugar balance
After an overnight fast, your blood sugar is already low. Skipping breakfast pushes your body to release more cortisol (stress hormone) to keep you going → this can worsen fatigue, cravings, anxiety, and stubborn fat storage.

🧠 Hormones ≠ male hormones
Most fasting research is done on men. Female hormones are more sensitive to energy availability, especially during perimenopause, high stress, intense training, or poor sleep.

🔥 Metabolism & thyroid
