Junior client fell during a cross country run. Always important to get an X-ray after a twisted ankle. No fractures this time. Just a mild sprain. No massage for 48-72 hours after injury to avoid worsening with the mechanical pressure. Compressive k-taping applied, never ceases to amaze me the clarity of the pressure in the patterns of the bruising, you can see the visible stripes.
K-tape has reduced the swelling and promoted the healing. Important to keep mobile, combination of massage, ice and heat and gradually load for a full recovery.
