With an unusual curve, the Slow & Aware team will enter into a COMPETITION :-)

Well, of course, on our end, the real challenge will most likely be just the usual invitation: to stay slow and aware of our bodies... holding space for the recipient to have an experience of embodied safety.

So from that perspective - nothing special.

From another perspective, Laura and Dan will represent the community at the World Massage Championship, so whatever we embody during the last weekend in Copenhagen will be assessed by the recipients and judges, based on the usual criteria of the WMC.

Fingers and hands and arms crossed... .. let's find out how the world of massage championship perceives what we offer.

I got it... not everything and every time needs to be slow. Like post-festival reaction time does not need to be necessarily 3.5 weeks 🤪🤷🤣
Apart from that - what blessing and timeless encounters we had, around 50 multiple-handed ceremonial lomi lomi masage sessions shared!

Hi folks. We're on this Zoom call with Marketing for Hippies and we had the 5min exercise to reach out for help about the biggest hurdle that we have in our business development at this point.

So here goes.

In the evolution of our brand, we are realising that the multiple-handed ceremonial bodywork sessions are at the core of what we do - we love that the most, our clients love it the most, and in general, we have the most transformational experiences when providing several hour-long 6-8-10-handed sessions.

Now, with a modest hourly rate in London - between 100-200 quid per hour per therapist -, and even with just shorter but especially a day-long rituals, the cost of these sessions makes it expensive to the point that it is simply entering the range of luxury services and accordingly the clientele who has no difficulties to pay for these sessions are majorily high-end clients.

In a way - no surprise. These sessions, in the ancient times, were offered to royalties, chiefs of tribes and in general were considered absolutely unique and special events.

(On another note, what makes the situation a bit more complicated - and beautiful... - is that they also provided these sessions just to their own kids and family members on some occasions, independently of their status or role.)

Anyway. The help that we are looking for is to find people or companies that can effectively match and connect us with the clientele that is open, 'gourmet' and wealthy enough to afford to pay for our multiple-handed ceremonial massage services.

Meanwhile, regarding our courses, workshops and retreats we continue to spread the 'slowing down-embodiment-conscious touch' vibe simply and affordably.

Not too long ago* we had this beautiful encounter with Jamie Catto and offered him a 6-handed ceremonial lomi lomi massage.

*Not too long ago = it will be 3 months exactly tomorrow. You see... this happens when you pair up with AI and things suddenly become smooth and fast.

What is still fresh despite the slightly delayed sharing about it is the genuineness of our time together. Human being - hi, meet human beings - hi.

There is so much talk about the groundedness of spiritual experiences and I guess some of it is still just eloquent BS as we understand that you're supposed to talk about it - so we talk about it.

Fellow Hungarian psychotherapist was asked how we, human beings can help each other. After several decades of practice, being famous, most certainly contributing to or playing a part in saving and transforming people's lives, he said something like that:
' I guess we can help each other in 3 ways.
1. You can give shelter to someone. When someone hasn't got a place to sleep at and you offer it - it is a big help.
2. We can give perspectives to each other... that might be helpful.
3. And we can... well... we can kind of... encourage each other.
That is roughly it. I don't think we can really help too much more than that.'

And, knowing him... on other days he might have said something else to the same question ;-)

But sometimes simplicity rules and just being a kind, trasparent humang being is enough to be thankful for.

I hope we could embody this simplicity for you for a bit, Jamie, you certainly did it for us. Thank you for trusting us to show up in your home, being as honest as you were and allowing a little time for self-care.

Dear clients, friends and family!

On behalf of myself and my gorgeous team, I would like to confirm that you all continue to be absolutely free this coming Friday to buy a session or course from us or to not buy anything at all.

We won't manipulate you in any way to believe that there is a sense of urgency to make a booking with us on a Black Friday, Green Tuesday or Golden Sunday.

Slowing down or getting out of your head with us, is probably a good idea in general, but it does not need to happen this week more than on any other week of your life.

There is enough stressful s**t going on out there, so rest assured - unless we die, we will be available for the next few decades to offer what we do as we genuinely love doing it.

If on this Friday you more feel like hanging out with your kids, reading a book, walking in nature, simply being lazy or bored, doing bungee jumping or having a swim... and you don't buy anything - everything will still be just fine.

Free one-day workshop for men.

Hey folks, more precisely men (sorry ladies... indirectly it is still for the well-being of all of us).

It's been a while since we have been running a one-day workshop - normally mixed-gender - called Collective Embodiment.

It is helping us to slow down, get out of our heads, into our bodies and explore the world of Lomi Lomi inspired multiple-handed ceremonial massages.

It has been a long-time dream to run this event for men only - to help men befriend and embody qualities between ourselves that we so often project on women: being soft, nourishing and embracing.

In other words: allowing us to practice how to be intimate in an amazingly simple, enjoyable, non-sensual, safe way.

With some members of my local men's group we have already been experimenting with all that, but this will be the first such public event and as such, it will be a free event.

(If we'd have costs for renting a venue then we'd throw the money together but there won't be any fee.)

We have places for 13 men - first come, first served.

Dear consciousness-explorer-pioneer-brother Carl Hayden Smith and the Lomi team - after a 2-hour long 10-handed ceremonial massage.

The whole thing started with a shout-out at the railway station if someone needed a lift to the All About Love Festival as I had some extra places in the car. Carl became one of two passengers, we started to chat... and the rest is history.

We aim to research how prolonged multiple-handed bodywork sessions can get people into altered and non-dual states of consciousness through surrender, the slowness and body awareness of the givers... and hypothetically the enhanced level of our endogenous DMT.

Despite the 'sleepy' and 'hamster-like' eyes of some of us, we all are sober ;-)
OK, maybe high on being present and connected.
