If you do ONE thing today, do THIS๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป

I bet youโve spent years, if not decades, putting yourself down and focussing on your flaws. Am I right? And tell me honestly, has it ever made you feel better? I highly doubt it.
So, letโs try something new. We all know change doesnโt happen by itself, weโve got to actively make it, and seek a new path. And this path is lined with gentle self-talk, regular self-care and a whole lot of self-like.
The moment you try and criticise yourself for anything - from that annoying bit of hair that keeps sticking up, to the fact that you didnโt tick off every tiny thing on your to-do list today, STOP; take a breath, and instead, tell yourself something you DO like, or list the things you did well today.
Itโll feel weird at first, and definitely takes some getting used to. Youโve almost gotta physically pull yourself up on that negative self-talk, in order to make an active effort to stop it. But the more you do it, the easier itโll become, as you start to form a habit - and a very positive one at that.
So if you do one thing this weekend, Iโm asking you very nicely to have a go at doing this. Spend the whole (long!) weekend working at being kind to yourself. Then come Tuesday, let me know how you feel. Iโm pretty confident itโll be a whole lot better ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
