Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients because they perform hundreds of roles in the body.

These are some of the signs and symptoms for iron deficiency, Iโ€™m sure thereโ€™s more. Iโ€™ve always been low of iron as far as I know, it never bothered me before and I took it lightly ๐Ÿ™„ Iโ€™m more active now I can notice it more especially when I get shortness of breath quickly after a workout which isnโ€™t good, I pay more attention to Micronutrients then I did before as it plays a vital role for our health.

Men may lift more weight, in total pounds, but when it comes to contests of strength relative to body weight, some women weight lifters can outlift the guys.

๐˜”๐˜บ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ 2: Another common myth is that lifting weights will make women gain weight and muscle or give their body a "bulky" appearance.

It's true, that if you lift enough weights over a long enough time, you will gain muscle mass. However, research shows that there aren't significant differences between how quickly men and women build muscle on similar training plans.

"Can it make you bulky? Sure, but you have to put in a ton of time in the weight room," Even then, it won't happen overnight. Building muscle takes significantly longer than burning fat, and years of hard work are required for the lean muscle mass you see on "bulky" athletes.

๐˜”๐˜บ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ 3: It's a common misconception that cardio is the best way to burn fat or lose weight better for burning calories, since research shows it can increase your basal metabolic rate, or the number of calories you burn at rest, for up to 48 hours after you finish your workout

๐˜”๐˜บ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ 4: Workout routines designed for women often include light weight (or just body weight exercises) and lots of reps. The conventional wisdom is that these smaller weights will help "tone" your muscles without making them big.

๐˜”๐˜บ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ 5: As a fitness beginner, walking into a gym can be anxiety-provoking, since it's easy to worry about being judged or fitting in. This can be particularly true for women in weight rooms full of men.

I bet youโ€™ve spent years, if not decades, putting yourself down and focussing on your flaws. Am I right? And tell me honestly, has it ever made you feel better? I highly doubt it.

So, letโ€™s try something new. We all know change doesnโ€™t happen by itself, weโ€™ve got to actively make it, and seek a new path. And this path is lined with gentle self-talk, regular self-care and a whole lot of self-like.

The moment you try and criticise yourself for anything - from that annoying bit of hair that keeps sticking up, to the fact that you didnโ€™t tick off every tiny thing on your to-do list today, STOP; take a breath, and instead, tell yourself something you DO like, or list the things you did well today.

Itโ€™ll feel weird at first, and definitely takes some getting used to. Youโ€™ve almost gotta physically pull yourself up on that negative self-talk, in order to make an active effort to stop it. But the more you do it, the easier itโ€™ll become, as you start to form a habit - and a very positive one at that.

So if you do one thing this weekend, Iโ€™m asking you very nicely to have a go at doing this. Spend the whole (long!) weekend working at being kind to yourself. Then come Tuesday, let me know how you feel. Iโ€™m pretty confident itโ€™ll be a whole lot better ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

The words we use to speak to ourselves can have a huge impact on us. If youโ€™re constantly putting yourself down, calling yourself names and judging yourself, youโ€™ll eventually start to believe those things about yourself, even if theyโ€™re not true. Self talk can have a big impact on your success. Here are some more tips for turning your self talk around.

โ€ข Can and do. โ€œI can do it.โ€

โ€ข Practice/help/better. โ€œThe more I practice, the better I get. I just need some helpโ€
โ€ข Would like and like. โ€œI would like an interview for the position.โ€

โ€ข I am or I will. โ€œI am smart. I will write my cover letter.โ€

โ€ข Next time or sometimes. โ€œSometimes I get a callback. Next time I will get a chance.โ€

Looking after your mental Health

What is going on in Palestine right now is so hard to process and the images especially of the children breaks my heart.

I think it is important to look after our mental health with everything we are reading and seeing.

Tips on looking after yourselves:

๐Ÿ”นPray, make dua for the safety of Palestinians. Mirror the same faith they are showing us, their imaan is so strong.

๐Ÿ”นIf itโ€™s distressing to read/see images donโ€™t subject yourself to them, there are other ways you can still help.

๐Ÿ”นIf you find it difficult to share information on whatโ€™s happening, itโ€™s okay! Find other ways to support , I.e dua, charities, demonstrations etc

๐Ÿ”นIf you are struggling to sleep due to nightmares/flashbacks of the images, try and reduce how much you read during the later hours in the day.

๐Ÿ”นIf you donโ€™t know whatโ€™s going on, educate yourself, ask people, google, look at Instagram

Becoming aware of the symptoms of anxiety plays a vital role in managing it.

You will never be able to truly help someone at the potential that Allah (god) created and meant for you until you learn how to take care of yourself first. Even when days are bad and anxious thoughts consume me, I will always continue to press forward.

My prayer and hope for anyone reading this is that you give yourself an open mind and an open heart, and really push yourself to overcome. I hope that you can tell yourself, and meant it, that you have the power to overcome this.
