We spend up to a third of our lives sleeping, sleep is a basic human need, like eating and drinking, and yet up to 35% of people feel that they don’t get enough sleep.

Poor sleep leads to many psychological and physical health conditions and significantly reduces overall quality of life.

The majority of sleep problems can be managed by medical intervention and/or a course of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

It’s with great pleasure that we introduce our latest new associate therapist, Harry Marcou, to Harriet Mellotte Therapies.

Harry is a highly skilled CBT and EMDR Therapist, experienced in treating depression, low self-esteem, stress and anxiety, OCD, chronic physical health conditions and trauma.

Harry offers face to face and online appointments from our clinic in Brixton, and currently has availability on a Friday.

The team at Harriet Mellotte Therapies is expanding in response to the demand we are seeing at the moment for in person therapy. It gives us huge pleasure to be welcoming Rebecca Clark this month.

Rebecca is an experienced CBT and EMDR therapist specialising in helping individuals navigate challenges of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma and stress.

We may be two days late with this post but the impact of the menopause is important to acknowledge every day. Never have physical and mental health been so intertwined than when hormones are involved. Symptoms of the menopause often include mood swings, anxiety, sleep difficulties, body dysmorphia, stress and low mood. Look after yourselves if you are experiencing any of these linked to the menopause ❤️
