We are so proud to have received a Greener Impact for Health Gold Award 🥇
We have previously held a silver and bronze award and have worked hard in the last year to make more sustainable changes and continue to de-carbonise our practice for Gold.
Big changes we have made this year to get to gold have included work on poly pharmacy, reviewing all our patients on 15 or more meds, batch switching to more sustainable inhalers, reducing use of consumables such as couch roll and creating our beautiful green space urban garden 🪴 for our staff and patients 💚
Next year we are going to continue to focus on our community and clinical projects but we also have some exciting premise announcements coming soon.
Thank you to all our patients and staff that for supporting us and raising awareness to the climate crisis and the risk to our communities health 💚

Our first flu clinic is this Saturday from 9am - 1pm.
Walk in or book a time slot with the reception team.
Please call our patient service’s team if you are not sure if you are eligible for a free vaccine to check before attending to avoid disappointment.

Eligible patients are over 65s, pregnant patient’s, patients with a long term condition and children 2-3years old.

Stoptober is back, calling on smokers in Islington to join the 2.5 million others across the country who have made a quit attempt with the campaign previously.

If you want to help to quit - call the practice and we can book you in with our health care assistants who are happy to support you kick the habit.

Our childhood flu vaccine season has started 💉 we are hosting our first childhood vaccine clinic on Monday 23rd from 4pm - 7pm for 2-3yr olds. If your child has started school they will be offered nasal flu sprays at school.🏫

The RSV vaccine helps protect against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), a common virus that can make babies and older adults seriously ill. It’s recommended during pregnancy and for adults aged 75 to 79.

We know you deserve better than this. GPs are on your side.
You have probably noticed that something is wrong.
General Practice is collapsing. Every practice across England is struggling to keep its doors open.
We value our patients. We know that most patients value us too, especially when they need us regularly. You know we can deal with most of your health problems, keep you out of hospital, and have your best interests at heart. The problem is with the mismanagement of the NHS.
Your GP is an expert in general medical practice – trained over 10 years to deal with complex problems, spot serious symptoms, and decide when you need specialist help at the hospital.
But did you know that your practice receives just £107.57 per year for each patient, whatever their health needs. That’s less than the cost of an annual TV licence.
It’s just 30p a day for every patient registered with us – less than the cost of an apple.
We believe general practice deserves a bigger slice of NHS funding so we can train and hire more GPs, deliver the services you require and make it easier for you and your loved ones to get appointments to see your GP and practice team.
GPs want the same things that you do. We believe nobody should struggle to see their family doctor.
General Practice should be as it once was – a familiar family doctor, offering continuity of care in a surgery full of friendly familiar faces within a safe building where you knew you would get the care you needed.
The Village will be supporting the with BMA GP Industrial action… we won’t be closing or strike but we will be taking recommendations from the BMA during this time.

We hate waste at the village ♻️ so was extremely happy to help when our lead nurse Cassie’s local community park was looking for overalls for the children to paint their new treehouse 🌳
Sadly the NHS creates a lot of waste which can’t always be helped, for example PPE which has now gone out of date and can no longer be used by us 💔
We currently have lots of face shields from Covid which are also out of date we would hate to put in the bin! If you would like these for a community project please let us know and we would be happy to donate these to you 😷
