Winter Warmer - Boost energy, Breathe well

As the season draws us inwards, come and boost your energy and learn to breathe well at this November winter workshop.

We’ll be using restorative yoga poses to open the chest, relax the body and quieten the mind. We'll learn how to direct our attention and improve the way we breathe in, before moving on to more specific pranayama breathing techniques.

Restore Energy, Breathe Well
As we shift towards the Autumn season, discover how to relax and regulate your nervous system through restful, supportive postures and breath-work.

We will be using poses to bring freedom to the abdomen and chest region, so that the diaphragm, the main breathing muscle can move freely, before exploring pranayama techniques to improve how we can breathe well.

I'm back from summer break and looking forward to re-starting all classes this week. We're focusing on the groins and inner thigh muscles (adductors), which are important for stability, balance and movement of legs and trunk. Here's a reminder of the timetable.

Taught a class at Bob's cafe in Muswell Hill last week. Early 7am start, but felt amazingly energised for the rest of the day! Yoga in amongst the lush green setting and very friendly staff.
Helen Stylinanou is teaching there next week. She's a great teacher so if you feel like an early morning re-charge, book yourself in - its on Wednesday 7-7.45am. £10 including a lovely mixed juice to boost your day!
