Thanking from for this beautiful quote 🙏🏽

Everything about this runs deep to my core and has been the drive of the work I do ✨🌈✨

When we open our hearts to love, to connection and to showing others just what a miracle they are and how their space in the world is so waiting for them to shine in their joy, it just hits different.

Magnifying others mirrors right back at you. When you hold others in love, in joy, in happiness you only open yourself up to bathing in the love, the joy and the happiness 💗

What is it you’re made for ✨

Opening your heart to your soul 🔥 that which fills you and not the version of you think you need to be

It can feel difficult to tap into your inner essence, the spark within that gives you life and makes you feel truly alive, but it’s not impossible 💫

People come to therapy for so many reasons, you don’t actually need a reason though do you? You can allow the curiosity of what it may bring to guide you

Therapy isn’t something that is done for you, it’s something you do for yourself 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♂️💁🏻 of course you can be directed towards areas to ponder but ultimately the decision, the work, the therapy is done by YOU to yourself. You choose if you do the work. You choose how far to take it.

A space to reflect to analyse, to wonder, to process, to surrender to, to stop and think *IS* this _insert XYZ_ what fulfils me and is this a life i want to lead

Make time for you, you’re the only one that can do this

Always here if you want to talk 👋🏼

Nestled into the little corner of my room is my hideaway, my sanctuary. A safe space where I can return time after time in any frame of mind and just know that it’s got me 🧘🏻‍♂️
Although it merely looks like a yoga mat on the floor 😬 it has greater depth and meaning to it and of course it has encouraged me to enjoy my movement practice 🤸🏽‍♀️
This little space allows me to be with. It gives me space to reflect and to feel. I sometime lay here out of frustration, sometimes I cry, other times I move and laugh ✨
Allowing ourselves to take sanctuary in whatever we feel will hold us, gives us the space to be seen, be heard and be held. From this space we can tap into what is calling for our attention and perhaps a space to surrender and yield.
Do you have a little hideaway? Id love for you to share your spaces with me.

Love flows through ♥️
But so does responsibility, vulnerability and fear 🧿

I faced a very challenging week with my little one. A week that will forever be etched in my psyche.

To witness someone you love, so deeply connected to, fight to stay alive, is a sight I don’t ever want to revisit. Not to mention bringing up to the surface old woulds from the past, a grief that felt like I was going to have to look at it in the eyes again but this time in the form of my son.

So very fortunate for us he overcame the battle and was able to pull through. Believe me when I say I don’t take this for granted ♥️🙏🏽🧿

I helplessly held his hand, stroked his face and looked up to the stars. My stomach churned to remind me of our one precious life and how in a moment, all can change.

What stood out so strongly was Love. The love i had within me for him, the love I wanted to keep giving him and the love we will always share between us, in us and surrounding us ♥️

My heart is forever within you little one, within both of you 🩷💙 how unbelievably grateful mummy is to have you both here with me.

Over the years i have come to learn at my core I am compelled to go deep into the uncomfortable, murky spaces within both myself and others.

I have a deep trust with the body being a gateway to truth, even when the mind resists. I find in time the mind learns to feel safe enough to turn towards the body (especially in those who may feel fear with some bodily sensations).

I honour the dark as much as the light. Both are necessary to connect towards our sense of wellbeing.

Im not here to bypass suffering with love-and-light talk. I’m here to witness, to hold, and to transform - I choose to move towards the ruptures without allowing it to define who we are.

I do this work because I believe we all have the capacity to self-regulate, to build resilience and to overcome adversity.
I do this work because we all deserve to connect towards our purpose, towards what brings us joy and what matters to US not what we think should matter.
I do this work to remind us all that we are not broken, we are not damaged and turning towards our suffering can be the very thing that liberates us from it.

I’ve been reminded that it’s been 11 years since I completed my first ever teacher training course which was with the wonderful Heather Elton Yoga (it won’t let me tag her, she’s fab!)
This photo was taken during my very first taught public class. I dragged my mother into attending so I didn’t feel as nervous if I had her to turn towards. She basically made up her own moves with my other auntie who were both giggling like school kids in the back row of assembly 🤣
11 years ago I left the Police and began my journey towards self-discovery. Towards learning about this precious and wild life, how I want to show up towards it and eventually how I want my children to see me embodying it.
Each moment is a blessing, each day is a chance to turn towards that which makes our heart fill with joy, love, connection and to also embrace the stickiness, the grief, the heartache, the adversity. We live in polarisation. Without one there isn’t the other.
What we have is the strength and courage to choose how to navigate this One. Precious. Life. 💫
Here’s to self-discovery, to leaning towards the moments that make you stop and face awe. Heres to life ♥️

Each of our emotions is a lens to how we perceive the world.

When we take a moment to truly let that land, what does it tell you about your perception to the world?

If we feel stuck in anxious cycles we may be directed to perceive everyday tasks with that heightened sense of emotion and outlook. From no fault of our own i have to add. This can lead to a cycle of potential negative beliefs that keep the habit loop continuing.

How can we perceive the world when unhelpful emotions lead us?

We stop.

We pause.

We reconnect.

We listen with an open heart, a loving gratitude for the wisdom our bodies share with us, for the emotions it brings because its job is to PROTECT us and keep us safe. We thank ourselves and then we take time letting ourselves know we are safe, we are ok to come back to clarity and openness to the world and although our emotions serve a purpose in everyday life, they don’t become the defining purpose of taking over our lives.

I go back to we can’t ’heal’ that which we refuse to feel. The only way is through.

In this fast paced world many of us live with constant stress, emotional overwhelm and physical tension from carrying the load, carrying too much, be it at home, at work or within ourselves.

My approach weaves together Yoga Therapy, mindfulness and Integrative Psychotherapy principles to address both mind and body.

Together we create a safe, nurturing, non judgemental and held space to be with whatever arises. We cannot heal what we refuse to feel. Facing our suffering not only helps us to build resilience as we begin processing what was denied from us, we also learn to regulate ourselves as we progress through life.

Whether you’re a professional seeking relief fr desk related strain, a woman navigating life transitions and craving to feel joy again, or a man quietly struggling with stress and burnout, I offer a safe, supportive space to restore balance and reconnect with your whole self.
