A crumbly mess - a bit like myself after watching Kate Winslet when she doesn't get a present back off that swine on 'The Holiday' 😭😭😭

These taste great though and very au natural 😋

No processed sh*te in these squares of yum:

- 1 mug of ground almonds
- 1.5 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 15g of Purition isolate, protein powder
- 21g dark choc (20 is grand, it just landed on 21😅)

In to the fridge until solid and it goes ideal with a cuppa! This recipe made 8 squares.

⏪️ Last Sunday 🍔🚶‍♀️🐶👭🍺

- Big walkies around St Albans, so beautiful there

- Stopped for a pint in a cute little pub (it's so rare to find Aspall cider so when we do come across it - it's a must. 1 hits the spot)

- Had brunch (sausage and egg muffin) in an independent cafe called Hatch, great staff & food

- Picked up some cookies from the market (Chloes cookies 🍪)

- Got the food shop delivered & put away (saves so much time)

- Didn't have to prep food as we had so much leftover from the Abu Fitness Food Prep Meet Up on Saturday 🥳

- Mixed in a square of my homemade dark chocolate, almond bites with some fruit & yoghurt... and crumbled some cookie from the market on top (unreal from Chloe)😋

- Packed my Monday gym bag

- Gave Eric is sleepy times nom noms 😅 and it was lights out!

Mum of three. Works full-time. Still shows up.

Marian could’ve said she didn’t have time.

She could’ve waited for things to “quiet down.”
But instead, she made time — even on her holidays.

She’s lost inches.

Built strength.

And gained confidence that shows in everything she does — from her training to how she carries herself.

People are noticing her results now,
but what I’m most proud of is her mindset — she’s stronger, calmer, and more determined than ever.

This is what happens when you stop chasing perfection and start showing up, even when you don’t feel like it.

When you don’t have an ‘all or nothing’ mindset.

Crispy. Chocolatey. Crunchy. 🍓🍫

I only made 4 of these to try them out… and honestly?

Big mistake — because they disappeared far too quickly 😂

All you need x 4 crisps:
✨ ½ cup puffed quinoa (I toasted mine from in a dry pan until it popped!)
✨ 4 squares dark chocolate
✨ Fresh strawberries

Melt ➡️ mix ➡️ set ➡️ snack

High in protein, full of fibre, and that perfect “sweet spot” after dinner hit.

I’ll definitely be making these again — they’re way too easy not to!

If you’ve ever picked up a dumbbell and thought, “Sweet mother of divine, what am I doing?” — don’t worry, you’re grand.

Start here instead 👇

When I was brand new to working out, the weights area gave me the absolute fear.

So, before any of my clients even think about lifting, we start with simple at-home tests & here’s 2 of them (no gym, no faffing about).

1️⃣ The Wall Angel Test:

Back up against the wall (bend your knees if you need).

If lifting your hands feels awkward or jammed — you’ve no business shoulder pressing both arms at once.

That’s criminal behaviour and I won’t stand for it 😅

If you can press your hands up whilst keeping everything glued to the wall, that's a great start!

2️⃣ The Deep Squat Test:

See if you can sit into a deep squat — with or without holding onto something.

If you nearly topple over, don’t panic — it just means your hips are tighter than your jeans after Christmas dinner. It can be fixed.

You don’t have to throw yourself into the deep end to start strong.

You just need to meet your body where it’s at — and build from there.
