"Sure it’d be rude not to..."

That’s usually how the first drink goes, right? And one turns into three...

👉 But does alcohol actually slow down your fat loss?

Technically, no. You can still lose weight if it fits your overall goals.

The real issue?

You eat more after drinking (shout out to a chow mein)

You’re dehydrated and sleep-deprived the next day

You skip workouts or feel too rough to train

You fall off your routine for days

👖 From feeling stuck to throwing out jeans that are now too baggy!

When Jana from Canada 🇨🇦 first joined, simple things felt tough, like getting up off a sun-bed on holiday!

Years of looking after everyone else meant she’d put herself last.

She wanted to feel strong again, to walk with confidence, and to finally stop worrying about her health (on the cusp of pre-diabetes at the start).

Last year, ⁠Jana had to walk around the outside of the paths to Redrock Canyon in Canada as her fitness and confidence weren't there.

Fast forward a 6 months and look at the difference:

✅️ This year, she was able to go straight up the middle of the Redrock Canyon with her family!

✅ 18.3 lbs down and counting

✅ Core strength massively improved (hollow body hold, nearly tripled!)

✅️ All *at home* workouts, moving from bands to dumbbells and doing movements she had never done before

✅ Jeans that once fit snug are now baggy and heading for the charity pile

✅ Meal prep/diary accountability, daily steps, and consistency that she thought she “couldn’t stick to” are now becoming second nature

Another real-life win this summer was that she was able to carry her almost 6 year old nephew… and play soccer with him.

This isn’t about a “quick fix” or a “magic plan.” It’s about:

👉 Building habits that last
👉 Finding support + accountability
👉 Learning to enjoy food without guilt
👉 Discovering how strong you really are

Not every week has been easy. But what we have worked on together is ditching the ‘all or nothing’ mindset 🙂

I am SO proud of Jana's continued efforts to put HER first. That's a habit to build in itself.

From Sedentary to 43 Pounds Weightloss 💪✨

When Bet first started, she described herself as “quite sedentary” — struggling with steps, not eating fruit or veg, and feeling the strain of extra weight on even the simplest movements.

She’d never lifted dumbbells, never used resistance bands, and rated her nutrition a 1/5.

Fast forward to today, and the transformation is incredible 🔥

✅ 43 lbs down and clothes fitting looser.

✅ From 0 fruit & veg to eating them daily.

✅ Fitness level up massively — regular workouts, higher step counts, stronger technique.

✅ Knee pain and niggles gone, despite two past back surgeries.

✅ A mindset shift — planning food ahead, mindful choices & even workouts on holiday

✅ From an average of 3,000 to 10,000+ step days.

What I admire most? She’s built this through consistency, not perfection.

Not every week had been smooth. There's been ups and downs along the way!

Small changes, stacked week after week, have completely changed her energy, confidence, and lifestyle.

This is just the start — with a photoshoot coming up and bigger goals ahead, Bet is proving that it’s never too late to feel fitter, lighter, and in control 🔥👏
