The Bridge is a charity aiming to make a difference to the lives of women living or working in London. We work to improve the health and well-being of women by supporting them to make positive life choices. So lovely to see so many mums and babies filling the space chatting, resting, moving, laughing and just being together. Moments like these remind us how powerful it is to create space that centres mothers, not just the to-do list of early parenthood.

Friday Mums is a supportive, mum-centred wellbeing space at The Bridge, created for women in their first year of motherhood. A place to connect, find care, gentle movement, conversation and moments of celebration alongside your baby.

At The Bridge, we believe mothers deserve care, connection, movement, and moments of celebration.

The Friday Mums Project is a new mum centred, holistic wellbeing space where you can drop in, connect with other mums, move, learn, and simply be yourself. Babies are always welcome!

Women’s health physiotherapist Sascha Koerner-Heinjus will guide us through the changes that come after birth, with a focus on:

- pelvic floor health
- abdominal separation
- returning to exercise safely

This in-person session is all about education, empowerment and normalising postpartum experiences. Come with your questions, curiosity and stories. There will be plenty of space for connections and honest conversations ✨

Today, we are more than just a charity and much of what we do is driven by those founding principles.
