Our Story

My name is Patricia Olabre, and I’m a fully insured British Wheel of Yoga-accredited Yoga Teacher with an unbeatable passion and a unique approach to teaching — one that is inspirational and embodies the physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects of wellbeing. I have been a full-time yoga teacher since completing my 500-hour teacher training course in 2009 with the Krishnamacharya Healing Yoga Foundation (KHYF) under Marc Beuvain in London.

My classes are geared towards all levels, especially for beginners, and I am certified to teach baby, kids, family, prenatal/postnatal, yin yoga and most recently, qi gong with yoga. Group classes offer three variations to suit each individual's needs and capabilities. My further qualifications include trainings with Birthlight UK (perinatal yoga) under Françoise Freedman, Sitaram Yoga under Uma Dinsmore-Tuli (mother & baby yoga), Norman Blair (yin yoga) and Mimi Kuo-Deemer (qi gong and yoga). Additionally I am registered with the Register of Exercise Professionals at Level 3. Also I qualified as a children's yoga teacher through YogaBugs and Yoga'd Up when I first started teaching in 2008.

In January 2016 I embarked on a new adventure organizing and planning yoga holidays and retreats. Combining my love of travel and yoga I found the perfect complement to my yoga teaching. Seeing the world with different eyes we immerse ourselves in the culture of the countries we visit, get to know the locals and their customs while infusing our practice with the sights and sounds of each place. Having been introduced to yoga through the Brahma Kumaris, I learned Raja Yoga and meditation in 2003. Since then, I have explored different traditions incorporating tools that support my practice. Yoga is a very important part of my life. I have attended several retreats and workshops in the pursuit of good health and happiness.
