Yesterday we also explored African culture through food, starting with a flavorful dish of chicken and jollof rice, topped with perfectly fried plantain. We also enjoyed a refreshing papaya fruit salad.
In the afternoon, we continued the experience by tasting a variety of African snacks and drinks, discovering new flavours and traditions along the way.
A truly memorable day filled with culture, learning, and amazing food! 🍛🍌🥭

Today we celebrated African World Heritage Day in the most wonderful way 🌍✨
We spent the morning “travelling” across Africa using Google Earth, discovering fascinating facts, sharing stories, and exploring beautiful African artefacts. It was such a great way to learn about the richness and diversity of different cultures.
We also had the chance to taste some delicious African food and enjoy the powerful rhythms of an African drummer – an experience that really brought the day to life!
A special thank you to our Care Coordinator Gregory, who shared his traditions from Nigeria and even treated us to a little dance – which brought lots of smiles all around 💃🏾
