Lindsey has been a lovely client to work with. She came to me after the birth of her second child.
She has a fair few postnatal issue that we had to fix, but also being a lifelong athlete has several past problems that we had to address also.

She is now doing great and she continues to train with me and she is improving all of the time.

Complicated, yes. Hard working, yes. Fun, absolutely.
A pleasure to train and a pleasure to see her continuous progression.

Well done Lindsey!

If you are always are trying to find the time to exercise, it will never happen.
With a new baby you will always find ‘things’ to fill your time.
You need to make the time for you and realise that the fitter and stronger you are, the better equipped you will be to look after your baby.
Good luck with it all.

My lovely client, Margaret, can to me with back pain, diastasis recti and a number of other issues. It was a long and patient process but we got there in the end. We even got her to do a triathlon and a half marathon.
This is why I love what I do. I get to help people and take them past where they think possible.
This was no quick fix but a step by step gradual process to rebuild her.

This is her story…

This is a question that one of my clients asked when she started training with me.
She was an interesting case and a great example of why it is ‘never too late to start’.

So many things happen to your body, and your life, during this postnatal period. For one, you cherish the quiet times like never before…

I as lucky enough to work with Fran after the birth of her two children.
I was also lucky enough to help Fran through her cancer treatment keeping her fit and moving.
Unfortunately, the cancer won this battle and Fran passed away last year.
It is with a heavy heart that I post this testimonial from her. RIP Fran. You are dearly missed. x

Most people have the knowledge to start making changes to their bodies.
You don’t need lots of knowledge to make a different. Most people know what they should and shouldn’t eat.
Most, if not all, people could drink a little more water.
Most people could move a little more.

So just use the knowledge that you do have to start the process of change.

Yes, in the postnatal period there are some specific things that you need to do to start the process.

If you don’t have the knowledge if this area then find someone who does. Find an expert who can help you to make the changes that you wish for.

Good luck.

A lot of new mums think that the six week check up means that they can just go back to all forms of exercise.
However, at this six week point your body is still recovering.
Sometimes the best form of exercise is rest.
Other times you body needs movement to aid your healing. However it is about finding the right level of exercise for your body at this point in time.

This is not a time for HIIT classes or the latest high intensity spin class.

It is a time to gradually introduce low level exercise and just gradually building this up over time.

If this is something that you need help with, drop me a DM.
Good luck with it all.
