LIP - VENOUS LAKES

Before & 3 months after treatment by DrH with Lutronic DermaV

A common vascular issue that DrH treats. He has immense experience with vascular laser. A large Venous Lake like this is typically resolved in 1-2 treatments.

DrH will perform the treatment using a small injection of Anaesthetic. This will make the procedure completely pain free.

Vascular laser is the Gold Standard treatment for venous lakes. Larger Venous lakes require treatment with NdYAG Laser. Shorter wavelengths like KTP or PDL will be unlikely to yield any convincing reduction.

Facial lesions on the lips should be treated in experienced hands when it comes to YAG lasers.

Laser Seborrheic Keratosis Treatment by DrH.

Seborrheic Keratoses are benign warty growths that develop on the skin as a combination of age/genetics and sun damage. They are benign but they can be very unsightly and also sometimes depending on position cause irritation.

This pleasant gentleman simply wanted to scrub up well to give away his daughter at her wedding.

A very acceptable reason to get these unsightly things sorted. As you can see these warty things are gone and won't compromise the big day in anyway!

RHINOPHYMA in Younger Patients & Darker Skin Types

It is a problem that affects of all skin types and all ages.

➡️Problem #1

It is often misdiagnosed in young patients as papular acne scarring. Therefore appropriate treatment is not suggested to patients by their doctor/dermatologist.

➡️Problem #2

If it is correctly diagnosed not many dermatologists have enough experience to perform laser surgery in darker skin types to correct it. Therefore South East Asian, Middle Eastern, Afrocarribean and Indian/Pakistani (skin types 4-6) patients are refused treatment.

In short if you are young and of a darker skin type there is usually nothing that will be suggested by your doctor as active treatment and you will be told nothing can be done.

Causative problems such as acne and rosacea are often undermanaged and this chronic enlargement of nasal tissue is allowed to progressively develop.

DrH is a world leading dermatologic laser surgeon with more case experience in Dark Skin Rhinophyma laser surgery than any other UK Dermatologist.

Your problem can be treated permanently. Your nose shape can be restored. It should not be written off because of your skin colour or age. So many patients who have been told nothing can be done have had restorative laser surgery with DrH.

This case features a patient with complex acne scarring. After completing Roaccutane treatment, her active acne subsided, but she was left with tethered acne scars, as well as ice pick and fibrotic hypopigmented scarring. This intricate scarring required the following treatment approach:

1) Combined Taylor Liberator Subcision and Punch Excision.
2) Deep full ablation resurfacing using a combination of fully ablative Lumenis Ultrapulse CO2 and Sciton Erbium YAG.

The after photo was taken 1 year and 2 months after her treatment journey with me was completed (treatment was in August 2023). This demonstrates the long-term, permanent results achieved through Dr. H’s surgical acne scar management protocols.
