If you're looking at this, chances are you've been trying mind over matter, and chances are mind over matter has you going out of your mind. It's likely that you have some patterns in your life that just keep repeating and you've no idea why with all the willpower in the world you've been unable to make those changes you desperately need. Here's the thing, it's common knowledge that we have a left side and a right side of our brains that control logic and emotions. When you're in meditation your brain is balanced, when you're triggered by something your brain is not balanced. It's so unbalanced that you know what you're doing/feeling/saying is something that's going to be bad for you but you can't stop it from happening. The first step is wanting to make the changes and then recognising the triggers that send you down a spiral. I help by helping you to apply the correct energy release processes and balancing your mind. This allows the releasing of body stored memories and 're-wiring' of your mind back to a better steady state, so you can be yourself, authentic and energised.

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week and it’s given me the opportunity to write a thank you I’ve been holding in for a couple of weeks now:

I’m so grateful to Lin Manuel Miranda, and for creating the song Surface Pressure from the movie Encanto.

If you haven’t seen it, please take a moment to watch it below but please, pay attention to the lyrics.

My wife and I talk to our kids, 10 and 8, about most things in life but the concept of this kind of pressure is always difficult for them to understand, even if they may feel it.

My gratitude comes from the wonderful and magical opening that this song has provided to start having these kinds of conversations…diving into pressures that we take on ourselves, expectations that we feel others have on us, our own feeling of Worth. This is for Adults as well as children to remember and discuss. Use this as your opening, engage in your feelings of pressure and burnout.

I almost cried when my 8 year old promised me that he would talk to me if he ever felt this kind of pressure so Thank You
🙏🙏🙏🙏

GOOOOOOOOOOALS!!!!!

Over the past 4 weeks I have been speaking with a number of different groups about Goal setting and the myriad structures that goals can take, starting with the most basic: Outcome- or Behaviour-based goals.

The choice between the two is all about focus; do you look at the goal line or the steps that lead somewhere? Is it the journey, or the destination?

After talking about it for weeks, I finally set and started my own Goal:

Behaviour change to achieve something greater. My Goal is to complete a TABATA workout everyday for the next 4 weeks. (see definition here https://lnkd.in/dprkHir)

Why? I have come to the realisation that "achieving" a target weight in a target time does not motivate me. At all. Ever. So, by choosing a Behavioural goal, maybe I get results?

So much goes into goal setting and I'll be writing about them over the next few weeks but what I want is this please:

Interact with this post!!! Pop into the comments a goal you have and any information about it. Writing down and sharing goals increases the chance of success so please, take this opportunity!

***Did my first Tabata today :)

Short on time or need a change of pace? Learn what tabata training is and how you can get a butt-blasting workout done in four minutes.

4am club! Awesome in its simplicity and has been very effective. The reason I chose 4am instead of 5am (like normal people) is that I know my self and my habits. I know I won’t count the gym as “time”, so if I wake up at 5 and get back from the gym at 6:30, I’ve only gained 30mins for the things my subconscious ranks as “important”. With that choice, I’ll never wake up, it’s just not worth it. So, 4am it is. I can go to the gym and have an entire 1.5hours to learn, write a gratitude journal and start work. 4am club, yay!

Where do you work best? What environment gets your energy and focus going?

This was a huge problem for my wife and I as, last Monday, my littlest one started school and we found our days were now completely open.

Where would we work? How much is parking? How many coffees can we drink? What place is both inspiring and drives focus at the same time?

Where do I feel, as says, in the best State to achieve all of the results I’m aiming for?

Oddly enough, is the perfect ! The mezzanine area is light, modern and airy. There is enough of a buzz so that the white noise promotes focus without distraction, and there is always a hot, option for lunch/brunch.

Where do you do your best work? Comment Below!!!

As I’ve said before, I love to get out to meet new people to see how I can help them. This was a business mentoring session taking place at a fantastic little cafe called . We had a great mentoring session in one of the “rooms” of the place. As you can see, I chose a cupboard 🤣🤣

While this is interesting, it only touches upon the root causes.

Feelings of low self-worth or vulnerability? Ideas and conceptual internalising of what is "masculine"? These are, on the surface, easily seen and understood but more importantly, from the viewpoint of helping men to understand their responses and actions, where to these reactions come from?

So many of our subconscious and emotional responses come from learned beliefs, and in order to help people to understand and move past damaging, unhelpful responses, those beliefs have to be changed at the fundamental, subconscious level.

Anger is an emotion that is expressed differently by men and women posts London therapist Gurpreet Singh

Enjoying a few moments of before a Mentoring session.

It’s always tough to find time for yourself and, of course, that leads to judgement and the perception of failures in your own life.

When that happens to me (which is often!) I try and make sure I catch it, notice it, acknowledge it. I don’t fight it, because it’s there for a reason, even if that judgement is no longer helpful. I just try to take a moment, feel it, and let it float away.
