I'm not posting my kids' faces on social any more, here's why
AI is increasingly present, and I don't want their faces turned into fake images that might be used to bully them.
We're anti smartphones for kids, and it seems infair if they can't use it or see it themselves, for me to be posting them
They haven't made the decision to put it up themselves, and I don't know if they'll end up resenting me for that.
No judgement on anyone else, and yes, I defo need to go back and take down pics I took in the past, but this is where I'm sitting right now. Parenting is difficult in this online age, and as a woman with (even a small) profile, I'm MORE than aware of that.
I'm trying more than ever to be present and offline more than I am online, and this decision feeds into that.

I don't remember the last time I went away with my female friends as a group. I don't have a girl gang, my best friends are all from different places and times, some of them have met but they don't ALL know each other. That makes getting together unusual, and I'll admit it, I don't feel I can ask them to get together "just for me".

But this year, I decided I needed to prioritise myself and my friendships. So for my birthday, I put on my big girl pants, and asked them to join me for 2 nights by the sea, and IT WAS LOVELY.
They all got on brilliantly, and I haven't laughed so much in such a long time.
Ladies, thanks for filling my cup.

In my latest article, for , I'm unpicking the weird response to Halle Berry's honesty about s*x and v@ginal lubrication. L**e is nothing to ashamed of and it's time we leaned in to it as a vital part of a women's s3xual wellbeing toolkit, particularly as we age and in postnatal/motherhood.

Last week I fell down the stairs, bruised my back and bum, broke a glass, and smacked and cut my head quite badly on the edge of the step. There was matted bloody hair, stained towels, and me crying on the floor because it all felt too much.
I slipped because I was tired, and running around trying to do too much. As mums we are usually (always) at the edge of overwhelm. I am normally quite good at remembering to slow down and switch off. Selfcare is the name of the game after all, whatever bad rep it has now. But recently it's been hard, because there's just so much to do.
So here's your reminder, no INSTRUCTION, to slow down, set boundaries, say no, and look after yourself too. I personally cannot wait for our next Midlife/Perimeno retreat in France, to do just that with you all. Look up the details in bio - 12-16 June, just a few spots left.

In a sea of depressing news for women and marginalised groups, this is a massive win. has taken down Andrew Tate's pimping podcast.
HOWEVER, other content of his remains up. As of 1hr ago, there are reports that the platform might be taking this down, too. However, you can still add your voice to the petition whether it's already been deleted or not. So go and do it (link in stories).
The Chang.org petition is now at over 100,000 names and rising. We need to show that we collectively know that his content is dangerous: misogynistic, sure, but also hate speech and inciting men and young boys to violence against women.
We often think that our lone voice means nothing, but this shows if we stand up and be counted, and ask others to do the same, we can make a difference.
Keep talking about the awful things that need righting, take action. Talk to your children too. It does make a difference. Keep going.

Thrilled to be featured in this month in a fab article about the rise of postnatal retreats by .
We've been going for 10 years, but I won't stop being proud of the amazing support we offer new parents (yes! Dads come too!) and the life-changing experiences our guests have. One DMd me this week to say &Breathe had "saved her after her first baby". It made me cry a bit.

As if yesterday wasnt enough, (&Breathe's Head PT and all round superstar) and I also spent the afternoon at delivering a menopause fitness and wellbeing workshop for their trainers.
We talked about fitness, programming, hormones, nutrition, identity, s*xual wellbeing, mental health and mental load amongst a whole host of other things and it was great to see such a proactive approach from BWW and their team!
What did they think?

Thrilled to be back at Broadcasting House today to speak on about our work.
I highlighted our first two pieces of research that have found more than 9 in 10 women's health and femtech organisations have experienced social media censorship and 100% of the organisations we surveyed have experienced refusal or difficulties with financial services (banking, insurance, ecommerce and payment platforms).
This impacts the whole life cycle of businesses (most of which are female led), trying to make a difference to the huge gender health gap.
They have trouble setting up, then they can't talk about their products, then they can't get investment because investors know they can't market themselves to grow.
Ultimately, this also shows that women are STILL not being allowed to own the narrative around their own bodies, impacting their health long term.

The year I had 2 birthdays...This year we left Fiji at 10pm on 28th November to fly back to London via LA. Flying that way means you travel over the international date line, so when we landed in LA, 10 hours later, it was still 28th November, and I had whole extra birthday to enjoy 🥳🥂😀
Tbf Delphi and I were pretty tired, so I'm not sure we made the most of it, but I still thought it was pretty cool...am I showing my age?!
Anyway, we're back from our amazing travels, so look out for articles coming soon (I post all my writing on mainly if you want to check me out over there).
