Spring is beginning to stir at the yard.

Blossom is appearing in the trees, birds are back overhead, and the evenings are stretching out a little longer each day.

Next Friday marks the spring equinox - the moment the year tips toward light again. For centuries it has been a quiet marker of renewal and fresh starts.
