On the one hand I like to tell people to give herbs at least a month before judging them, and on the other I'm often taken back by how quickly they really can help! I actually find that Premenstrual Peace drops and our belly balm work almost immediately. What do you find with your products?

Meadowsweet is a lovely herb to work with for pain relief and as an antionflammatory. It's something I'd use as part of a bigger pain relief blend with patients struggling with endo. They might also get things like viburnum opulus (cramp bark), turmeric and chamomile. I would work a lot on trying to relieve chronic inflammation in their pain blends. Whilst also prescribing a main mix which tried to balance the endocrine-immune-gut system to prevent and reduce endometrial lesions. You might think herbalists are against symptomatic relief, that it only covers a problem up, that's why we often do both at the same time. Patients needn't struggle on without relief, especially as it has no nasty side effects!

Whilst everyone is freaking out about not having enough Oestrogen, here I am on Sheerluxe talking about how we all need to be effectively getting rid of the oestrogen we've already used. Trouble with lots of hormone issues these days is just how many oestrogens we have in our waters, plastics, it was found the other day that there were micro-plastics inside an o***y! Gross!

If we aren't able to process oestrogen that's been used it can be reactivated in the digestive system and used again. So being able to effectively process it is important to avoid oestrogen excess. Oestrogen has a proliferative effect on the body, making cells grow, which is why its cautioned against in some cancers. Honestly, it was the bad reviews for other rose water's on the market that spurred me along to launch this product. I knew ful-well how good real rose water is and I thought people deserved to know this too!

Did you know that before we launch any of our products they're tested with real people for 1-3 months first? Depending on the product. There have been a few ghastly products that didn't make it to launch; herbal chocolates for example. I managed to make a batch last year that had gagging. I wish I'd recorded the response!

Suffice to say our products aren't just based on trends, they're based on traditional knowledge, cutting edge science and finally, your experiences too!

After spending many years suffering with terrible period pain I realised that stress was a massive contributor. By using self-care and learning how to observe and flow with my hormone cycle I’ve been able to transform my life. Now I teach people how to do the same through my online course, natural products and health coaching.
