I was asked to comment on the risks of vegan diets in children on BBC Radio Wales. It’s important to have professional guidance from a Paediatric Dietitian to avoid any nutritional shortfalls particularly B12, iron, calcium, protein and energy intake which can adversely impact on the growth and development of the child.
