_Did you know that vitamin D is a hormone rather than a vitamin? _

☀️After the process of synthesis is complete, the final product is a hormone. The main source of vitamin D in our body is D3 which is obtained from the sun and small amounts of D2 from our food.

☀️Vitamin D had an important role to play in dental health. It helps prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Calcium and phosphorus create enamel and under enamel is dentin. Dentin houses all the cells that the body uses to protect the blood supply and the nerve inside the tooth. Dentin cells release immune factors that can repair damaged dentin.

☀️Vitamin D has antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties and active wound-healing effects.

☀️Insufficiency in vitamin D can reduce bone density, osteoporosis, bone fracture, and can increase periodontal disease.

☀️Vitamin D is vital in promoting bone formation around dental implants. It is possible that low levels of vitamin D can adversely affect the healing process.

✅Test your vitamin D levels with a blood test available at the ndu Clinic.

Dental is a mixture of metals, consisting of silver tin copper and 50%.
most toxic metal in the environment.
It is discussed how inert the metal becomes when it is in the amalgamation of dental Fillings. The and other societies have done studies that find the safety to be questionable, the convention on mercury has also worked to reduce the use of amalgam due to the high damaging effects to the environment.
One of the side effects of mercury is that it is a neurotoxin but also not often mentioned a hormone destabilizer. It mimics estrogen and blocks its binding. It blocks the ability of our body to produce protective substances, i.e., the protective mechanisms of our body to fight against toxins and the ability for natural detoxification pathways.
✅Many heavy metals will imitate other vital elements: calcium, magnesium, potassium, and others, thus preventing their absorption. So, the lack of minerals in our body and problems with bodily functions result from the inability to absorb nutrients. This is because heavy metals can inhibit our body's ability to function correctly.
✅The posts are showing some ways of detoxing from metals. As an essential starter, before removal or just around the time of removal of the amalgam filling we recommend to do a heavy metals test to have a baseline of the metal levels.
✅One great test on the market is from , easy to use. We would recommend to repeat the test after six months to check the progress.
In most cases it is beneficial to work with a or functional doctor that would be better skilled to guide through the protocol.

Have you ever wondered what is under your crowns and bridges? Often there are amalgam fillings beneath them and they are easily over seen. Various metals in the mouth can create what is known as galvanic shock or oral galvanism.

The body's reaction to the galvanic shock can contribute to headaches, general weakness, reduced performance, sleep disturbances, and many other symptoms.

(See above)

It is easy to demonstrate the galvanic shock in a practical experiment. Take two small wires of different metals (e.g. steel and copper). Clean and polish the wires until they are shiny. Then stick the wires into a potato, apple, or onion, about 1-3cm deep, making sure there is some distance between them. If you now carefully touch the ends of the wires with your tongue, you will feel a sour taste. If you have a galvanometer at hand, it will register a weak electric current. This is how the galvanic cell - the smallest source of electricity - was obtained.

✅Therefore, similar processes can be observed in the patient's mouth.

Case study for amalgam removal using composite and ceramic

✅Replacemt optiions for amalgam fillings are composites, Ceramic restorations Inlays Onlays or overlays and for bigger ones crowns.

✅Composite fillings the treatment of choice for small cavities are modeled directly in the mouth, Inlay, Onlay and Overlay are made with the help of the latest CAD/CAM technology.
When a large part of the dental tissue is damaged, it cannot be restored with composite fillings that’s where ceramic is needed. These new technologies and modern manufacturing methods have made the process of making ceramics easier. Even some that previously would have need a crown can now be restored in a less invasive way.

Advantages:

• aesthetics characterized by natural color, shape, and light transmission
• less tooth grinding is required
• computer precision manufacturing
• excellent strength and high resistance to breakage
• easier cleaning of teeth and surrounding tissue
• reduced gum irritation
• elimination of the risk of the appearance of the metal edge of the crown caused by receding gums
• greater comfort for the patient

If you are reading this, you are worried about your own health or the health of someone you care about. I believe that most people associate mercury itself with something poisonous. This is also the case with amalgam.

✅Dental amalgam contains 50% of mercury and the other half with tin, copper, and silver. Despite the well-known fact that they contain up to 50% mercury, they are still considered safe for health in most countries of the world. Numerous studies show that amalgam fillings can be very dangerous and responsible for diseases such as autism, Alzheimer's disease, and multiple sclerosis... and that they should be removed urgently.

✅Mercury vapors are released from the fillings during chewing, brushing, and grounding. It is generally believed that the greatest exposure to mercury occurs during the placement and removal of amalgam fillings.

✅The ndu clinic decided to follow up SMART protocol to reduce the risk of exposure. It is your decision what you want to do, we believed that there is no harm in reducing exposure to mercury while fillings are taken out.

The IAOMT recommendations are based on traditional safe amalgam removal techniques, such as the use of masks, water irrigation, and high-volume suction, supplementing these conventional strategies with a range of additional protective measures, the need for which has only recently been established in scientific research.

Thanks to Melisa and the and especially to Linda to give me the opportunity to speak about biological dentistry and more heavy metals in dentistry. It was or is one of the most beautiful places to have a meeting. . The whole event was amazing, seeing old friends and making new ones. Best places are the ones where you’re surrounded by friends. Thanks John and Mark for supporting this journey
